Before checking in here I was at home town suites and literally walked into my room and turned around and checked out. I got to this place and it was amazing. I was only there a few nights but it was so comfortable and clean and convenient. The ONLY thing I would complain about was the water pressure in the shower. I would DEFINITELY stay here again.
Fitness center was still closed, in spite of elimination of County Covid restrictions. The general manager had repeatedly asked the corporate office to open the fitness center, but was declined. Bathtub would not drain properly, the shower faucet handle fell off, and it took 2 days to get it fixed. It took 3 to 5 minutes of running hot water to heat up.Room lighting was terrible - impossible to read a book unless you sat next to the window in daytime. Even though there was a mini-kitchen with a refrigerator and two-burner hotplate, there were no dishes, pots or pans, dish towels, dish soap - nothing. No Kleenex either. Housekeeping is only once a week. The laundry was fine - but the soap machine was out of order, and change was not available. It cost double to use a credit card for the washer and dryer. On the plus side, the beds were quite comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows of different size and firmness. We had an end-of hall room, and it was quiet enough. The HVAC worked well, and was reasonably quiet. The staff were friendly and polite.
Likes: Clean, really nicely decorated, great location, easy parking, friendly staff, pet friendly Dislikes: 4th floor smelled strange, Employees didn't abide by mask rules, No coffee machine, I never saw the elevator get cleaned. I saw the same smudges so I don't think they were really operating safely with Covid.
The staff was super friendly. And its close to an excellent little sandwich shop and kabob place. There was just a couple things (maintenance wise) wrong with the room, but it was clean.
Twice the. Price it should be IKEA level furniture Kitchenette with no cooking gear
The design of the hotel and decor is friendly and fun.
The staff at night were wonderful. The blonde gentleman was awesome. But I was there for almost 20 days (checked out and back in the same day) and though I requested room service several times I only received it once during the first week of my stay. During the last week I requested it on a Monday and was told I was on the list for Wednesday. After I didn’t receive it Wednesday I asked on Thursday was told they’d try and fit me in. I left on Saturday without ever having received maid service. I’m fine with it being once a week but I do think if you request it they try and accommodate you.
This place is super clean with an awesome staff! We’ll be back! For certain!!
Not bad in theory, but lots of issues. Probably the most serious is the "shoddy construction"...very thin walls (easy to hear the phone conversation in the next room), sharp edges on the desk right next to a seating area, The air conditioner did not work, and luckily there was one room left and they moved us. Even the new room seemed a bit hot (even in May) While it lists a kitchenette, there is no supplies...no plates, silverware, towels, soap, etc. You'll have to bring your own. And the refrigerator froze our food (OK, that setting can be changed easily, but it should be set correctly). There were no tissues available…I had to use toilet paper. Another nitpick: there were three pillows for a queen, where most hotels give at least two pillows per sleeper. Good points are lots of outlets, including USB charging.
The entire facility was immaculate and well maintained. The room was cozy and cute, and the bed comfortable. Everything worked. Having a Keurig coffee maker in the room was a really nice touch. The only thing I found surprising was that there were no cooking or eating implements whatsoever. I was told at the desk that I could buy a kit from them for $40, but for relatively short stays, it wouldn't be worth it. If you plan to cook, take note that there are only two small size burners and no oven other than a microwave. There is also no work space to speak of. That aside, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and would certainly return.
We did not like how loud our neighbors were they stayed up all night playing xbox games and spoke real loud each night! So we turned on the TV to stop the constant noise level of noise each night! I came home exhausted.
