I was in the denver/westminster area for the weekend visiting a friend. I usually stay at Hilton properties, but thought I would mix it up this time. The Marriott Westminster was located perfectly between boulder and denver. Upon my arrival the front desk was personable. The one person that stood out to me was Jordan. He was personal and knowledgable of all hotel amentites and features. He was also courteous enough to buy me a drink at the bar. Another person I encountered that delivered excellent service was charity. All staff in genearl was friendly and greeted me with a hello everytime I walked through the door. Only complaint I have is the beds were way too hard. Aside from that lovely property with lovely people.
I have stayed at this property for both business and pleasure. The staff is very customer focused and determined to make your stay an enjoyable one. I love the chic design of the hotel and the location is perfect. Close to downtown Denver and close to Boulder! You won't be disappointed!
I had stayed at this hotel 3 years ago but it was a short in and out on a business trip so I really didn't experience everything the hotel has to offer. This time it was a family trip for kids hockey tournament. The hotel offered a great group rate with a very good breakfast buffet in a private meeting room. Breakfast items were above average and the staff did a good job servicing a larger group. The restaurant/bar was good as well. During a busy evening on the bar side the front desk employee was taking care of some of the diners as well as the front desk. I think her name was Marisa? She should be recognized for her excellent customer service skills. Rooms were clean and quiet, maid service was consistently early and complete, no need to call down for extra towels, etc. All in all,a great hotel to consider if traveling in the area.
Great place and some many wonderful people to be around everyone took care of all my needs and made sure I had a perfect stay. Wonderful people at the front desk and the food was excellent and the room made me feel like home
Great clean, stylish, highly maintained Marriott property with lots of ambiance and a very nice and attentive staff. Up to date on property amenities and lounge with a solid and accommodating culinary staff.
After staying at the Denver Marriott I will be cancelling all Marriott reservations forever. I was once your customer but that is no longer the case. Case in point. I was booked at the Pittsburgh Courtyard tonight. That has now been cancelled and I will be staying at a Hilton.
I booked the hotel for 1 night on Thanksgiving and the experience was not that good. I did a mobile check-in and when I arrived at the Hotel around 4pm(although I got a message at 11am that my room was ready), the front desk person was very helpful and friendly. She greeted me as a platinum member and told me where everything was. I went upstairs to the 6th floor to my room. The room and bathroom was clean and looked pretty good until I tried to hop onto my bed. I can hear and feel the springs in the end of the bed. It was very odd, I tried jumping on the head of the bed but didn't hear or feel the spring. It was very strange. I took a shower before heading to my family's for Thanksgiving. The shower head was great, it was adjustable to have more pressure, which was great, since most hotel has only 1 setting with no pressure. I went to checkout the lounge before heading to my family's. It was strangely located at the back of the restaurant dining area and you can reach from the hallway across from the meeting rooms. For drinks, it had Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, and 2 others that I can't remember, a coffee machine with tons of different creamer, and water bottles(which was empty when I was there). For snacks, they had granola bars, rice krispy treats, and something else I can't remember. Typical basic NA lounge items. Breakfast at the restaurant in the morning was typical continental breakfast buffet. Cereal, yogurt, bread, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and a person there to cook you eggs or omelet. Everything looked great except for when I went to grab an english muffin. One part of it was moldy and I didn't notice until I got to my table. I ate everything else and waited for my waitress to come by so I can get another orange and change so I can leave a tip. I waited and waited and waited but she never came by again. When someone else was cleaning the table next to me, I asked her if she can get me some change. I left a 5 dollar tip even though I didn't really get the service but since my breakfast was free and I probably wont be back again. Overall the hotel was ok. I would probably not go back to this hotel since the bed was terrible and I woke up like every hour throughout the night since it was so uncomfortable. I stayed at the Westin the following night(the other side of 36) and the bed there was wonderful. No lounge and I didn't try their breakfast since I rather get 500 spg points. I would probably stay there in the future.
From the second I walked in to the lobby through my 5 day stay was an amazing stay and friendliest staff. Each time we entered the lobby we received a Welcome Back, managers were present to say hello.
Very clean place, friendly folks, very helpful. Bar was nice and the restaurant had lots of variety. The buffet for breakfast was a very nice perk, which made it easy to get a bit to eat every morning. I would stay here again on any trips to this area.
Very clean, comfortable and Inviting. When in Denver again, I will return. My friends were also very happy with their room. . . .This review is supposed to be 200 words and I'm super busy and can not think of 200 more words but would like to acknowledge that it was a good stay at a quality hotel
