Excellent and friendly staff. Evelyn was super gracious, kind, and professional. Mike had a pleasant attitude and beautiful smile. They made check-in and out a breeze. Overall I would say this is a very good selection for single people, couples, and other adults (it feels like a motel so particularly I would prefer not to bring kids here). Great: Location is close to a 7-Eleven, Pizza Hut (a block away, you could walk there if you needed to) They have a fire pit they can turn on at 8pm upon request. I loved that and hanged out there for an hour. It was a bit chilly, but worth it. It’s on the beach! coffee, chocolate, and other hot beverage options 24 hrs included. You can grab a cup of hot coffee at any point, this is a machine in the lobby area. Good: Jacuzzi and pool were nice and very cleaned. Nice pool size, but pool is no heated. Ok: I got a basic room and it was good for the price. If you can pay for a 1st fl facing the beach, that seems to be the best option. They have a hammock and a chair or two, you also have an exit right to the pool, Jaccuzi and fire pit area, and of course to the beach. The bldg can use some more remodeling. It shows some tear and wear. Some of the launch chairs are broken, it gives the place a bad look. I stood at Bahama House in March and would go there if traveling with little kids, and here if traveling alone or with adults. Bahama did some upgrades, but also have outdated stuff. I’ll return here this year.

Thank your friendly hospitality during our spring break.

good location

good location, easy access, freindly staff

They don't clean your room. Then they are combative when you want clean towels and toilet paper. Avoid this place!!!!!

No good for children

I enjoyed our room although it was a little annoying that people were blocking our room with lawn chairs. We paid for a view to have it blocked by guests who didn’t really care. I loved the jacuzzi in the room but I feel the room was rushed in cleaning the door panel was off the jacuzzi. There are marks on the ceiling and hand prints on the wall. The dehumidifier did not work so our floor in the room was wet most of the night from the moisture of the ocean and jacuzzi. We had to use towels to dry the floor. Also limited parking, if you go out late you end up in front of the hotel or across the busy street. The room was decent for the price other than the few issues. Has a nice size fridge and microwave in the room. All the staff was very pleasant and they were willing to take a look at the issues at hand but we were only there one night so let’s hope they fix the issues before the next guest.

Love the people and the beach!!!

The beach and fire

Room view of ocean

It was on the beach and pool overlooked the ocean. The property needs renovation, pool chairs rusted and didn't work, room faucets had little pressure (shower was fine), furniture was chipped, room phone didn't work, beach shower foot faucet didn't work.

Location was great, everything else was ok

Easy Beach access

My room appeared tastefully and recently updated

Small property well located at the quieter N. end of Ormond beach with great views. Beach driving permitted here but sparce due to softer sand and narrower area. Good outdoor amenities: hottub, firepit and seating nooks with round lounges. I'd call it budget luxury. Rooms have large rainfall showers. Owners would do well to replace some worn items in the room ie corroded lamps, frayed towels and also to provide some better quality items for continental breakfast. That would earn an extra star.

The room was very clean. Nice bathroom. Comfortable beds. It’s right on the ocean. The pool and hot tub were nice. There are big lounge chairs that are pretty private, and a fire pit. The other guests were mostly families. I took my two kids here and we stayed for three days. Price is affordable, I recommend it to friends. Would stay here again.

I liked the fact that we were on the water. I didn’t like that the elevators were very, very small and old. The fire pit wasn’t lit and the hot tub was cold.

Not family friendly unless your family enjoys smelling clouds of Marijuana smoke all day and night long.

The Lotus has so much potential! There are elements in the accommodations that are top notch, but the run down and unkempt outside areas are depressing. Especially the courtyard overlooking the ocean view- it could have been an amazing place to sit in or look at from the hotel balconies. Covid or no, a little effort into upkeep would have gone a long way.
