at check I ve realized the front desk personal needs to take some socialization clasess, need to smile, they need to be friendly, they are pretty rough to talk, the cleaness in room blankets dirty and stained, i asked to change it told me they dont have clean one until next day! then the door key never works always a challenge to get in, their lobby only has diluted orange juice ( i think is good because tipically has many sugar), and coffe only, ac worked well cold pretty good, but the shower sucks hot water dont even think about it, they have they water boiler to the minimum level or nothing , they have free ice machine in the back i think is good, the hot tube temperature usually is cold, they warmed it just with sunlight to save money, i didnt get inside the pool many kids for my me, many neiborgs smoking weed i dont think is good for the kids to learn the smell of marihuana at 9 years old, so when they finally changed my blanket they asked to bring it up front rather than have someone from housekeeping Picking it up, so i did when got there the front desk she didnt accept it asked me to leave in the room again, uncooordinated makes them look unorganized and deficient to work, the price is way to high for the quality average 150 dollars per night in summer , i think asking for to much just taking advantage of season, the closest beach is padre island or mustand island 20 minutes away, overall I think is overpaid for the services or they need to work on their manners !

I booked a smoking room by accident online and they helped me get a non-smoking room when I checked in.
Just walking into the room , the first thing I noticed was dirty blankets, and full of holes from cigarette burns, I reserved a non smoking room but was given blankets that come from a smoking room. Those blankets need to be in the trash. The toilet was not working correctly and the shower had a crack on the wall. The tv had no signal most of the time. What a horrible experience orbitz should not promote these type of properties that care nothing about cleanliness or customer satisfaction. Also pool was closed, and no breakfast provided

I arrived early to the hotel and show up to checking. My room (non-smoking) wasn't available yet. The lady promised to call me when ready and she did!
We were driving all day and got there in the evening. I knew it was a mistake when I pulled in the parking lot but it was a last minute trip and there was nothing else available on that side of town. The first room I got had cigarette burns all over the sheets and yellow stains so I requested another room. The second room was the same except with a strong smell of smoke. The lady at the front desk was nice and gave me a refund. I can't believe they would think a room like that was acceptable to anyone.
My stay was fine. The room was fine. Everything was fine.
This Red Roof Inn location is run down and very old. There were dead bugs in the bathroom and it did not feel very safe on the property. Parking was also an issue.
There was absolutely nothing comforting about the property. It was dirty, bad area of town, people smoking and staring at you from every door as you came in, the staff was terrible. I walked into my room only to see both beds completely with stains everywhere. I told the manager about it and he said, if you don’t like it, you can leave and I will cancel. Please try your best not to book, especially during the pandemic. This place was far from sanitized and they didn’t seem to care.
I was upset that the pool was closed but it didn't state it on the site.
