Would not stay here again.

The first room we checked into smelled horrible, even the whole hallway on the third floor smelled bad. The carpets in the rooms were heavily stained and the bathroom felt dirty. We asked for a room change and the front desk helped with that without issue. They gave us a room on the fifth floor. It smelled better, but the carpets were still pretty stained. There are signs that say the hotel is smoke free, but we saw cigarette butts in the elevator and it smelled like smoke. The pool had leaves in it that weren’t cleaned out. I guess you get what you pay for, but I’ve never stayed in a La Quinta that was so dirty.

Very disappointed.

Lobby carpet and hallways had lots of stains and b. Smelled bad when I got to my door you could just turn the handle and walk in. You did not need a key card to enter my room. No remote for the TV. I went to the front desk she gave me a remote and a paper to program the remote. The batteries were dead, so I had to go get another remote. That one did not work, either the batteries were dead. They sent their maintenance guy. He brought a remote if you finally got it programmed to turn the TV on and the volume, but it would not change the channels. When the maintenance guy came, I showed him the door that you did not need a key card to open the door he said he would make sure maintenance knows about it.And it'd be a good idea to use the locks. They did not offer me another room. When you got out of the elevator the hall stunk, I don't know what the smell was and the same with the rooms I was very dissatisfied with my stay. I stayed there the week prior and the only reason why I went back. There was because I knew I could park my semi there. But I will not stay at that hotel again. The first day was the same, but the room carpet was even worse than the carpet in room that I stayed in this time and the smell in the room was the same on my first stay.

If I could rate a negative -10 I would this hotel was the worst place we’ve ever stayed at, We went to visit our daughter who is stationed at Fort Carson and had to stay the last 3 days with her because it was so disgusting and dirty. It states a smoke free hotel but the entire hotel reeked of smoke We’ve travelled all over the world and this place was by far the worst. The clerk that checked me out and yes I checked out early even though they had already charged my card for the majority of my stay when I checked in which was an extended stay, I will also be sending my complaints to the hotel directly. I don’t think the carpets have ever been they smelled and looked like they’ve been soiled. I wouldn’t recommend my anyone to stay there.

It looks like the hotel is under staffed. Check-ins looked delayed, complimentary breakfast needed attention, the grounds looked like it needed attention. The homeless population is an issue not only for hotel but all of the city.

Worse La Qunita experience I ever had.

Due to housekeeping short staffed, I was unable to check in at 3pm. No rooms ready .Many other guests had the same problem. I was able to get my room at 4:30pm. Breakfast was worse service at La quinta I have ever had. Sausage and eggs kept running out. Waffle mix ran out. OJ looked like water/lemonade light mix. I felt sorry for the attendant , who arrived at 7am was behind the 8 ball the moment she arrived to work. She did work her butt off though.

Let down!!!

Well as soon as we opened the door smelled like a dog lives there. General cleanliness like dusting, wiping out drawers, making sure no dog hair in the bed. And the ice machine in lobby hasnt been cleaned in weeks. Very disappointed. Wont be back.

Not a very good first impression, when arriving there was a planter that should have had flowers or something in it, but it was covered in cigarette butts.The room definitely needs a makeover, carpet was coming up, very, very slow, drain, there was some hair on the shower wall, which totally grossed me out. And the TV volume did not work, couldn’t change it up or down. It was just at one volume, which was on the low side.The air conditioner, which was very good ,noisy but good. We had to turn the air conditioner off to hear the TV. we brought our small dog with us. They had dog stations available, but there was no dog bags. Unfortunately, there are some bad dog owners out there that do not bring poop bags.
