Rooms and amenities were much better than expected. The pics online do not do it justice. Staff were professional and beyond friendly. They were proud to share their knowledge and history of the property.

I was pretty disappointed with my stay at the Mining Exchange. We were not offered a room upgrade and in fact we were put into a handicapable access room that I did not want nor did I ask for. The hotel charged me for a resort fee even though Expedia said all the fees were included. It was $27. There were absolutely no resort amenities as the spa is under renovation. The soaps in the room smell like really cheap cologne. It’s pretty awful. The conditioner has “Cilantro” as its fragrance. Who picked this stuff? It’s pretty bad. I found a hair in my bagel in the morning while trying to eat breakfast at Blk Magic. The staff were very apologetic. It was pretty nasty. I was very underwhelmed with the hotel overall.
