It was nice

the wild animals, beautiful trails and buildings

We upgraded our room due to the dullness of the one we got and we were satisfied with the upgrade. Next time we will stay in the castle! Everyone was very kind and hospitable! The grounds and wildlife were spectacular and the breakfast was great!

The property and grounds is beautiful inside and out of the castle. It’s a very peaceful and spiritual place to find yourself. They do have afternoon tea but you need a reservation for it. Wish I had known ahead of time. It is also right next to Garden of the Gods which was a perk. I would definitely go back again.

Beautiful building and grounds. Very helpful staff. Stayed in a castle room and the room we got was in the back wing, overlooking dumpsters☹

Such a beautiful, peaceful setting. Parking was hard at the Big Horn. For people who have a hard time walking. The only small complaint was they had soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower. 2 of them didn't work, so had to get out of the shower to retrieve items. But everything else was awesome.

So beautiful and peaceful.

Scenery and historic building were great, However, our room was below ground level!

They put me in a room opposite an ice machine and every hour it went off to fill up because some guest used up ice 2am.... And I could hear everything through the door and wall... What's worse that I woke up on there hour every hour most of the night

The fantastic location and wildlife and peace and quiet 😋

Such natural beauty ! An

The grounds were beautiful, really the star of the show and right behind Garden of the Gods. The check in staff was friendly and the room was basic but nice and comfortable. The gate attendant could have been a little more welcoming though, but I guess his role was to scare off the rift raft.

Like driving into a post card. The sight lines and manicured property are almost surreal. Saw wild big horn sheep on property and walked 2 trails which were for guests only. The Privacy and seclusion were unique. Some castle room no ac and a heat wave was going on. Thankfully we had a portable ac on our second floor castle room.

Exceptionally beautiful and peaceful grounds. Warm and efficient staff. We stayed in a lodge building, which was well-maintained. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Nice hot breakfast (coffee was weak - really, the only thing I would try to improve!). Being able to hike the on-site trails in the morning before departure is a wonderful bonus. Nicest place to stay in all of Colorado Springs!

Location, Location, Location!!!

Beautiful property! Worth the price :)
