Overall, the property was conveniently located in the heart of everything. Cons: The property was in need of some refreshing since it bills itself as a luxury accommodation. The room (215) was very worn out. Carpet seams fraying, fingerprints everywhere, paint peeling, wallpaper damaged, exterior woodwork outside the windows rotted and falling apart, and the ac unit was very loud. Pros: Friendly staff, location. Wishlist: Self-parking option in the garage. Relying on the valet became more of a hinderance rather than a luxury amenity. We loved the period specific character, but that does not have to mean run down, especially at the luxury price point.
