Our family recently moved to a camper on our Home-building site and during the big freeze our propane tanks and water lines froze. We came to Residence Inn and couldn’t have been treated any better! Great hot breakfasts complete with waffles and oatmeal with all the toppings and dinner too with hot dogs, chili and beer and wine. We also washed all our clothes and had our little Dachsund too! Libby took care of me when I had to run water to our horse and we had a nice chat trading best nail salons. Everyone was very outgoing and friendly. We will definitely make this our home away from home! Shopping and restaurants real close too!
If you aren't traveling with a pet (or are staying for a number of nights with a pet) you won't have to worry about the $75 pet fee. I arranged my reservation through Priceline which indicated the hotel was pet friendly and there was a pet fee. I didn't realize until after I made the reservation and paid for it that the pet fee for my 1-night stay would be $75. This is my only complaint. Pros: - Nice, clean, spacious, up-to-date suite with kitchenette, living room area, bedroom and bathroom - Pets allowed (with a $75 fee for the duration of the stay) - Nice hot breakfast - Nice indoor pool - Capable staff Cons: - Expensive pet fee for short stays ($75 for the duration)
Made reservation by phone - was quoted a price for one night stay which included one small pet. Upon arrival, was informed pet cleaning fee would be additional $70.00. Was told quote included pet but not cleaning fee. "OUTRAGEOUS"
Stayed here overnight with my family recently on my way back from Florida. Rooms were spacious, for a family of four with the extra sofa bed being very helpful. Room was adequately dark and we slept very well. The major disappointment was the breakfast. There were hardly anything on the menu except for scrambled eggs, bread and sausage (not for a vegetarian) and they ran out of breads and the waffle machine was half functional. The staff in the breakfast area were pathetic and not up to scratch. Overall a very bad experience. Wouldn’t go back again to this property even if on a deal.
Stayed with family in two bedroom suite and was greatly disappointed by the lack of care for this room, especially the furniture with peeling upholstery. The room size and service were as expected, but pool was small and felt more like a motel and certainly not for exercise swimming. Not a bad hotel, but doesn’t seem to be worth three stars or the price paid.
It was clean and roomy with a functional kitchen. The furniture was a little dated as someone else had pointed out but it was not a big deal. Included breakfast was standard fare. It is similar to other Residence Inns we have stayed before. The location was convenient off the freeway on our way to Atlanta. No major negatives.
Stayed one night at this property just before Thanksgiving. Checkin was very quick and room assigned was very nice. Furnishings in living area definitely need some replacing, but other than that it was a very nice stay. Bed was extremely comfortable and I really liked the overall decorating style. Kitchen was functional and well equipped. I was there on a night they had a managers "mixer". Barbecue chicken sandwiches with chips and coleslaw and drinks. It was not 5 star, but was tasty and saved me going out to find dinner elsewhere. I would definitely stay at this property again, in fact I am the week before Christmas. Location is a little tricky to find, but is close to just about anything you can ask for. There are a plethora of fast food and dining restaurants of just about every taste very close by and, a very nice large Chattanooga Mall is less than a mile away.
I just recently stayed here and everything was fine. I did not require a lot of attention but I was basically in and out of the hotel. The young lady that checked me in was great. The breakfast needs changing to a different menu. See you next time we come. Happy Holidays!
The hotel is clean and the lobby is well keep up. We have stayed at many Residence Inns in the past and enjoyed them. We were disappointed by the furniture in our room. Two of the chairs and the couch were in disrepair and needed to be replaced. Our biggest issue was our daughter needed to sleep on the pull out couch and it was broken. The staff said they were unable to provide a roll away bed or replace the couch. The bed was incredibly hard. Average Residence Inn breakfast provided.
My mistake for not realizing this was an EXTREMELY PET FRIENDLY hotel!!! Either there was a dog show somewhere in the city or it was being held right at the hotel. There were dogs everywhere, smelling you while you're checking in, drooling while you're trying to eat, and the outside of the hotel was littered in doggy do-do. I guess I expected better of the pet owners. BUT it was a wake up call to check if a hotel is pet friendly. Please, I like dogs, just not strange dogs smelling me and wanting my food. The room was fine. Quiet and clean, but typical of how Marriott has let the Residence Inns go downhill.
