I was there with my daughter for her pageant performance .. This motel was so closed to kannapolis performing art center that's why I booked n pay $69 + tax for one night .. But I couldn't able to sleep whole night because of heater noise.. It was too loud for sleep n bed was also too soft that I was feeling that I m sleeping in bean bag.. I recommend that don't go to this motel.. It's waste of ur money.. I better has to take my money n go to other hotel.. But it was too late n toooo cold to go out with 9 yer old daughter n look for another motel

Compared to other hotels in the area, this is a bargain, but you get what you pay for. Location is good right off I85 and several good restaurants and gas stations etc Room is basic no frills, the fridge didn't work though The Wi-Fi is sketchy at best. I had to keep re-entering the password for every tab I opened and if left idle for more than 5 minutes. Room was clean, bed comfy, AC Cold and TV had cable. Breakfast had the Belgian waffles and cereal, minimal fruit and pastry items.

The person that worked during the day was very rude. The rooms were clean but everything was outdated. There was mold on our ceiling in the bathroom, not enough towels, the commode did not have a cover to the seat the pillows did not have pillow cases on 3 of them. Went to ask for pillow cases and there were none on the shelf. Hotel was in great location but we will not stay there again unless there are some improvements not for that price. Hotel grade on the wall showed a 92.5.

HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE. ROOMS WERE CLEAN. THE HOTEL WAS NEAR ALOT OF DIFFERENCE ATTRATIONS

It was ok, room. Smelled like mold... (Very very bad)

Hotel was kinda rough looking in the bathroom especially .

We needed it for a place to crash after a concert and it served our needs of a place to shower and sleep. The night check in staff on duty was a little rude but it was pretty late when we got there. Breakfast consisted of three cereals and a waffle maker so don't be expecting much. Overall good place and would recommend it if you aren't expecting more then a place to shower and sleep.

Window curtain torn. Room sheets and towels dingy, appeared unclean. Furniture was scratched and worn out. All wall outlets were loose and unusable. Felt very uncomfortable sleeping on beds.

non smoking room, everything smelled of smoke. very musty/moldy smell too. was clean though. staff okay, wish a few service staff spoke English.

Manager/Owner ran down hotel booking company and told me they lie because they tell you they only have 3 rooms available and as I can see he hs plenty of rooms available. I asked for a down stairs room and noted the motel was virtually empty, only one car in parking lot. He then told me he saves those rooms for customers that book directly. He ended up giving us the room He then had to get towels and bring them to the room before we went in. Room was just ordinary.

Spent one night there while travelling on business. Location was convenient to interstate, and in a decent location. No issues with room cleanliness. Check-in and check-out went fine, no surprises. Room had working tv, fridge, hair dryer, and microwave. Plenty of clean towels. Wake-up call was on time. Can't really call it a complaint, but there was no travel-size shampoo in shower. Overall a positive experience, and I'd stay there again.

great desk staff, comfortable room, relatively quiet, no problems... room was exceptionally clean, kudos to the housekeeping staff

We expect something better than this hotel, the food was horrible ,only few varieties. I do not recommended this hotel.

Charlotte NC - stayed for Speed Week, stayed in this hotel for 9 days! Had to keep asking for for towels and toilet paper, finally went out & bought our own toilet paper! Their excuse was that they were full to capacity & everyone wanted extra towels! Pool was not avail til our last day! Hotel staff did not speak ENGLISH!! OUR problem & managements" problem with the service! I do not recommend and will not use Econo Lodge again! Otherwise, we had a great trip! Also, cheap TV!

When I planned my one-dat trip to Charlotte, I was only looking for a place to lay my head and shower...which is exactly what I got here. It's nothing fancy, nothing to write home about, but it essentially got the job done. There was an issue with my hot water, but instead of waiting for it to be fixed, I just decided to return to my home in Raleigh and shower in the comfort of my own home. I spent about 85% of my time out of the hotel, and it's the only way I would return...if I was guaranteed to be out of the actual room for an extended period of time. The furnishings are outdated, and hard to really get clean...but for the price, I knew not to expect 5-star quality.

Room was not cleaned by cleaning crew and they had no other rooms. Night desk clerk had to change the bedding, vacuum, etc. at 11pm(we had a late check in). He was very nice about it though and did his best to make the situation right. [...] The hotel needs major renovations. Bedding, mattresses, furniture, paint, carpet all looks thirty years old. You could feel the springs in the mattresses, furniture mismatched and scratched, walls were patched with large swabs of plaster painted over. Needs serious remodeling.

Very friendly folks with clean and comfortable rooms. Everything as expected, nothing special, but nothing wrong at all either.

the only way i would suggest this place is if you just drove 14 hrs and need a place to sleep. not a place for familys smelt dirty falling a part the price even though low was still too much

Clean room comfy bed and very friendly staff made this a great night stay in Kannapolis.

We went to the World of Outlaws while we were there. We were suppose to have a king size bed but we only had a Queen. This was a nice trip all in all.
