Comfort Suites - Gastonia

Great experience, convenient locations, good value for the rate.

We booked a single queen room with a sleeper sofa... What a joke. The sleeper sofa was a love seat with a single bed. The mattress had stains all over it the sheets they were provided weren't the right size. We also let them know there would be 3 in the room but only had towels, etc for 2. I wouldn't recommend it.

Have stayed at Comfort Suites on Remount Road numerous times have always been pleased with the facility and staff. The room is always clean and comfortable. Breakfast has something for everyone's taste. Having been born and raised in Gaston County, then moving to Florence County, South Carolina in the early 70's, it's nice to have a place to stay when going home to visit that is consistently nice, welcoming and comfortable.

Location is accessible room was spotless! The bed was extremely comfortable! Full breakfast in the morning! There are a lot restaurants and shops around the area.

I would stay there again. It is in a good location and the rooms were decent. Most of the staff I ran into were friendly enough. The night desk person could have been a little less abrupt, but still okay. Besides the keys continually needing to be reactivated and the door needing a new key reader, the only thing that bothered me was the extreme humidity of the hotel. I did mention it and hope it was fixed. Ask before you book. It was 90 degrees outside and I went out there to get dry from being in the hallways. As a result of the humidity, our A/C on high only helped cool down the area 2 feet away from it. So, maybe a few things need to be fixed. The continental breakfast was about what you would expect. There were a few choices with enough for everyone - and the setup was clean. Advice for booking would be to ask if the humidity in the hallways are fixed and to turn the fridge temperature down for you before you get there. Otherwise, good for a quick, safe stay :)

Location was great. Not many amenities, but overall nice stay.

Comfy beds, hot shower, use of business room with computer and printer, nice breakfast.... But the best part of our stay was the people who work here. The girls at the desk went out of their way to help us when we had to stay longer than expected. The ladies who take care of the rooms always gave me the extra towels I requested with a big smile and "Have a good day!". The crowning jewel is the sweet lady who takes care of the breakfast service. I accidentally left my purse in the dining room one morning. Didn't miss it for 3 hours. She had found the purse hanging there on the chair, and turned it in to the front desk. Saved my bacon, she did. You just can't get any better service than that. Honest, hardworking people are this hotels greatest asset.

The hotel was great, very clean and great location!

I stay in The area regularly and my normal hotel was not able to accommodate me this visit. This locationroom available and I booked through an app. The booking process was great. I have stayed here twice before and the internet was down the first time and the fire alarms went off the second time. When I went to check in, the desk clerk greeted me quickly and began the check in process. After I was checked in, she then informed me there was no water due to a broken pipe and did not have even a guess as to how long it would be out. Parking is very limited and I had to sandwhich in between two commercial trucks with barely any room to get out. The elevator is slow and very noisy. When I got in my room, there is a whirlpool tub in the middle of the living area and only a walk in shower in the bathroom. The room smelled musty and the air short cycled all night. The wifi, while free, is the slowest I have experienced in a mid priced hotel. The water came back on about 2 a.m. I knew this because the pipe noise and banging sounded like someone breaking in. When I went to turn the faucet on, it took 10 minutes before the water was clear. I would make certain to call ahead before you stay here as this is third time I have had issues with this hotel. The rooms are not as clean as comparable hotels in the area.

The people, room and facilities were very nice - clean - orderly and the morning breakfast was very nice.

Came in for a family reunion this past weekend, the rooms are a little dated, the bathroom shower was old, cracked and stained but it was clean at least. Breakfast was wonderful, staff were nice and the location was great, it's easy to get to and right off the interstate, pool was clean and refreshing. Hope they have plans to do renos on the bathroom soon but overall good stay, it served its purpose.

every one was really nice and friendly . very clean easy access to highway

had good experience, would return to this hotel chain and location. fair price for the service I received

I was home for Thanksgiving week visiting my family, and I stayed at the Comfort Suites. The staff was both professional and helpful in making my stay a very pleasant experience. I enjoyed the good food, the courteous staff, and the assistance I needed to complete my stay. I used the Business Room to get mail and my boarding pass for the return trip to Las Vegas. Thank you and "yes" I will stay on any return trips requiring lodging. Paul Ratchford

Rug were dirt and Bugs in the room.

Rooms were large like most Comfort Suites but it did not seem very clean. Definitely needs some updating.

Comfort Suites Gastonia staff are incredible! They were super nice and always ready to accomidate us. Room was great, large king bed and jacuzzi tub in the room, wonderful! This was a great stay...we will be back!
