It was located in a convenient area of the Historic District. The hotel itself was lovely and the room was just as described. The staff was very pleasant and really made you feel like they were happy you chose their hotel. We will stay there again on our next visit.

Great location downtown with a lot of restaurants and shopping that is walkable. Loved the rooftop views. Our room had a balcony right on the rooftop and near the pool. Great food, had brunch and dinner. The only bad review that we couldn’t get into our room for two hours past the expected check in. But did get two breakfast vouchers.

No mini fridge in the room, very minimal accommodations. Front desk staff were a bit short and rude. There was a used glove on the hallway floor for several days before someone picked it up and disposed of it. The hotel itself is beautiful but the overall stay disappointing and very lack luster.

Property needs to spend some time cleaning the pool area/deck.

Location: A /Outstanding Common Areas: A/Excellent Room: C-/Substandard. In need of restoration some time ago. Suite was not as represented on-line. Maintenance and housekeeping need improvements. Not what was expected from the iconic Mills House nor Grand Windham brands. Hallway 6th floor: D/Poor. Carpet terribly dirty. stained & bleached-out by cleaner spills. Trim banged-up & in need of serious repair/refinishing or replacement. Cracks in crown & conduit eruptions need caulking, etc.

There were a lot of restrictions due to Covid-19 like no valet parking, no room service and no housekeeping services, but I feel the staff did a great job at trying to navigate through being short staffed and dealing with uncertainty themselves. Amenities were good for the value and the food for brunch was very good!

Outstanding very short experience! Booked for two nights and due to the hurricane we were evacuated. The hotel gave us back 100% of our money paid even though we were going to stay for one night. After thinking through the situation of being stuck on the highway the next day as they were getting ready to reverse the lanes as we were in an evacuation zone we decided to leave and not stay the night. Will definitely be back!!! Thank you to the hotel for their outstanding customer service and treating us with the true southern hospitality.
