Three day stay to visit sick relative. I ignorred the mustiness and dead cockroach. Realized dead bolt didn't work. Told staff in am. Was not fixed by that evening. Told same staff again second am. Also informed her that humidifier needed service. Went bact to room, put up do not disturb sign. Left at 11 am and removed do not disturb. Returned in late evening, dead bolt fixed, humidifier serviced, but room had not been serviced by housekeeping. Clerk said that housekeeping log said I had a do not disturb sign up. I pointed out that I left at 11am, and housekeeping was still working. She said, well they have a certain order that they go. I pointed out that maintenance obviously was in room, ank asked iif they had no communication.

The hotel is in need of renovations. The sofa smelled like dogs and dogs were barking in the other rooms during the night.

My room wasn't cleaned in comparison to other hotel dive stayed at. The tub wouldn't drain while showering, so I called to get it fixed. They claimed to have fixed the problem, but it still didn't drain. Not to mention, there was long hair in my tub and I have short hair. It was never removed after my concern to have the tub cleaned. My key cards stopped working twice as that was an inconvenience. I just felt like housekeeping could have done a better job to allow my stay more comfortable.

The employees were very nice. The kitchen was not good. There was an electrical panel box over the stove that was not covered and the bottom part was vacant. I am sure it would not come up to code. There was no amenities provided for use in the kitchen, so why have it??? The bathroom was awful. Everything that had metal in the suite was rusty. Under the sink cabinet in the bath was a piece of old carpet and crumpled pieces of particle board. The handle on the window lock had been replaced with a big nail. The furniture was old and dirty in the living room. The ceiling came below the A/C vents and the air filter was filthy. You could see light all around the doors even when they were closed and locked. TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The stay at Quality Inn Suites was an enjoyable stay. Rooms are big and beds are very comfy. The only thing that would have made this stay better was for the Deluxe Breakfast to have longer hours.

Little ways of a walk to the beach but not bad. Did have to ask for service at the room. Did not automatically come.

Although this hotel was a bargain, it was kind of old and not too clean seeming. Two vacationers with me felt like they might have gotten fleas. I guess this would be okay for a couple or someone without picky teenagers. The pool is small by current hotel standards. The location is good and the staff are pleasant.

The hotel room was nothing special. It could certainly use some renovation, but the location is great. It's directly across the street from the beach.

An older hotel with old carpet and furniture that needs updating bad however the bed was very comfortable and room was clean and did not smell. Great value for the price

Modest, but very clean motel. Excellent location and price, right by the beach and shops. Very friendly staff. The rooms are not smoking, but they provide space for smokers, which is the best guarantee for no smoking. It's pet friendly.

We were unable to take a shower because the hot water knob would not turn. When I checked with the desk, the maintenance man had already been informed but had failed to fix the faucet before the room was given to us. We had to leave smelly and sweaty because we did not have time to wait for him to complete his task. No financial compensation could be made because we made reservations through a travel company, not the hotel itself.

Central location, Not bad if you are not very picky

This motel was in a good location and close to most of the stuff on the island. Although it is an older motel, it is very clean and room is spacious. The bathroom was smaller, but older motels tend to be that way. Another hotel is being built and blocks ocean but you can walk over to ocean. Staff was very helpful with our questions about restaurants etc.

I would not recommend the Quality Inn, Jekyll Island. We cut short our stay after one night and checked into another hotel. The room was musty and dirty. We were given a blanket full of holes, our request for an extra pillow was denied. The worst thing was the room gave my daughter asthma as they allow pets in the rooms. My daughter is allergic to pet hair, and we were not advised this was a pet hotel. The room was filthy.

Hotel was okay. The a/c was broken so it was freezing cold. The bike rental was kind of expensive, too.

For the price of the hotel I was expecting something more. The look and feel of the place was more like a 39.99 dollar a night motel. The place is old and needs upgrades. The scariest moment was when my boyfriend and I went back riding only to return to the room and find that someone had been in there. That person left their duffle bag on the bed, plugged their cell phone in the charger and dropped their shorts and underwear in the middle of the floor. The hotel clerk assured us that he did not overbook and that he didn't put anyone in a room between the time that we left to go bike riding and back which was a total of 45 minutes. I was afraid the entire weekend that anyone could just come in any of the rooms. They changed our room to a suite which was still not a better looking room. It was just a little bigger with no tv in the bedroom. I would not go back to this hotel again when I go to the island!

Our room was located in a dorm type building behind the hotel. The suite was large with a kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms 1 bath. It was clean. Pool looked nice. Just not what I was looking for. Felt more like I was in an apartment than a hotel. This hotel is across the street from the beach.... would have preferred on the beach because the walk to the beach is a bit of a trek when you have a lot of stuff. If you stay here I would recommend the rooms up to 200 in the main part of the hotel. The 300 rooms which i guess are the overflow rooms are in the apartment building behind the hotel. Its great if you have a lot of people because the rooms are large and there is sleeping for 4 people.

I attended Share The Wealth Conference. The Internet was really slow but everything else was great. This trip was up there with my previous stay on the Island.

I was very happy about being able to cook. We all had a very good time.

Motel was very well maintained. The pool was clean and attractively landscaped and enjoyed by my children during our stay. Housekeeping kept the room in great shape and the beds were really comfortable. We got this room at a bargain price and were pleasantly surprised at its condition and size. This hotel does not have an ocean view, but the beach is just a quick walk across the street. Staff was friendly and there is an on site laundry room as well. We would definitely stay here again.
