Broken Ice machine, Broken water sprinkler for rinsing sand off feet after leaving the beach. Dog poop all over green spaces that doesn't get picked up. Resort may want to consider installing dog poop stations near green spaces for guests. The Cottage ice cream and coffee were delicious, pool was clean.

Love the history, beauty, charm, and friendliness. Well done! We would enjoy returning for a longer stay! Thank you!

It's an old historic hotel and inside was fine. Food was good but items like stone crab were advertised but not on the buffet. Ice machine and toilet in first one were not working. The outside of first one was filthy. We were moved into the historic building and everything was much better.

Fantastic place. ECHO dining was wonderful

Charming hotel right on the beach. Overall, staff was friendly. Dislikes - Smoky lobby due to restaurant - Cloudy pool - Could not get a seat at pool - empty seats with towels on every chair - Could not honor my request for a noon time check-out

Gorgeous, convenient, staff was courteous, beach was clean

The first room was the Motel 7 with a great view of the trash cans. We paid for an upgrade but even that was a struggle. They “forgot” to tell us the spa and housekeeping were cancelled for COVID until I called for an appointment What a waste of time and money!

Some of the rooms need some serious updating. Tub/shower drained poorly and you would be standing in 4" of water by the time you finished your shower.

Loved the restaurant being able to watch the ocean while you ate. Parking wasnt fun but understandable with only do much space.

Loved the location of the property and access to the beach. Like the beautiful lobby, the bar area and the patio right on the ocean.

We loved the beachfront pool area. The food and drinks were delicious too!

Lovely views. Great breakfast at restaurant. Parking perfect.

Great beach access. Parking is very good. Friendly staff.

ALWAYS GREAT AND WELCOMING-MADE ADJUSTMENTS WHEN THEY WERE REQUESTED

My husband and I stayed a couple of nights with our two toddlers in the Oglethorpe buildings. The room is a fantastic use of space, having every accommodation you may want, and is beautifully decorated and updated. The Oglethorpe buildings are just a short walk to the beach and pool facilities, both of which are perfect setups, especially for small children. The one foot pool was a much needed attraction to come back to after a few hours of keeping the toddlers alive in crashing waves! And though we could have probably slept on anything after chasing the boys around at the beach, the beds slept wonderfully. We would definitely return!

Great location and beach. The rooms were comfortable but needed updating. Wi-Fi is terrible.

Check in was smooth and view was beautiful. Our 1st night the bed sheets had quite a bit of hair-not sure if they had been changed from previous guest. The next am the front desk took care of it and comped breakfast and 2 drinks. We loved the pool and the music. Bed was comfy. Staff were super nice. Then last day housekeeping never came. Definitely needs attention but otherwise good.

Excellent stay. Staff was so polite and courteous. Pool and beach were amazing.
