Small TV that does not have HD which causes the pic to only take up a smaller portion of the screen. TV is on other side of room making it very difficult to see from bed. Also, no cable stations at all and no music stations. No clock radio in room , so no ability to listen to music while in the room. Room was basic with no special features.
Rooms and staff very nice
This is the best place to stay in St. Simons Island.
Paper thin walls. Could hear conversations in room next door
Always enjoy staying here.
Nice clean room convenient parking garage great location. Walking distance to the water.
Cute rooms! Unique furniture. Front desk people were really helpful. Can walk to restaurants and stores in minutes
Parking is tight and limited. Great location!
The inn is lovely, but very worn after many tourist seasons. It felt clean, just run-down (holes in walls, nicks in cabinets, etc.) The few staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was ok, just mostly bagels and cereal - we ate breakfast elsewhere. The worst part was the incredibly thin walls: we could clearly hear conversations on both sides of our room late at night and first thing in the morning.
This inn was just beautiful. A nice change from a hotel chain. The hotel manager was friendly. I definitely will come back.
Close to everything
Place needs a complete renovation. Carpets were all stained in our room. From rusty door hinges to scuffed up walls, to broken furniture, it goes on and on. Great location, but this hotel is not maintained well by any stretch.
St. Simons Inn is very nice. Really enjoyed our stay, it is very quiet, and close to the beach, the resturants and shops, walking distance.
I love the place, the location was excellent. I can see the lighthouse through my bedroom. I was able to walk everywhere, restaurant, beach, light house museum, golf, gas station and stores, bycicles rentals. I wish the breakfast area has more toaster so you don't have to wait a lot for a toast.
Property was nice. Close to water and Lighthouse / Boardwalk and quaint shopping
Lighthouse was 50 yards from the Inn and restaurant’s and shops were within a 3 block walk. Same for the pier. 👍
Very easy access to shoreline and all of the amenities there. Shopping, food, events. Pool was extremely cold. The floors in the room were very dirty. All other items within the room were very clean.
