First off, let me say that the staff I encountered was very nice; however, the room we had smelled so bad!! It was a moldy, musty smell that hit you in the face as soon as you opened the door. Thankfully for us we were not in our room but to sleep at night! We turned the air on and kept the fan running to help with the smell, but they seriously need to do something about the carpet or whatever it is that's making the room smell! Will definitely not be staying there again! Even though the price of the room was good, I would have expected more from a "Wyndham" property!

I'll enjoy my stay thank so muchthe gentleman very polite a nice I would like to come back to stay

The outside looks fine, but there are lots of maintenance issues inside. Mold in shower for example. Only time I have ever seen a sign on the front desk saying Locals are not allowed to stay in the hotel anymore. The beds were comfortable but everything looked like it needed a good cleaning, repair, or replacement. Staff members were very pleasant, but did not appear well trained.

When you check into most hotels, large or small, there is an effort to make the person checking in feel like a guest. Some give you a cookie, others talk up their amenities and their breakfast offerings. This Microtel prominently displays a sign WE DO NOT RENT TO LOCALS. Although the desk clerk was very friendly, you kinda got the sense the owner had a few axes to grind. Checking into the room, another sign IF YOU EAT THE SNACKS YOU WILL BE CHARGED. Now, this was a bit odd, as I never found any snacks, so it wasn't clear what or where they were. Maybe someone got to them first. Who knows. There were other oddities. No Clock. That's right. Those $10 clock radios were missing from the room as well. My co-worker was looking for an iron, none in the room. The desk clerk apologized and said they had asked for them in the rooms, but that was refused. You can bring one up with an ironing board from the front desk, but that is a pain. Everything else was okay, the room was clean, the staff fine, but I never felt like a guest. Now if you set the bar low, it was a passable room. At the core, you have to be somewhat trusting to build and operate a facility for strangers. My wife ran a guesthouse for 6 years and no doubt, she had some characters and people who did not respect the property. But, 99+% of the people were gracious, wonderful people who appreciated the facility. The day you start treating everyone like a problem guest, you wonder if you're in the right business.

Nice hotel, cheap and clean. We arrived late and had no issues getting in the room. It was more like an efficiency apartment.

Room very nice slept well. Breakfast was nice, bed super comfortable. Would indeed stay again.

Room is basic but adequate. Best feature is super comfortable bed. Breakfast is not as advertised with very limited selections. I brought my own. Cleaning solution smell present at last stay was gone. Bathroom floors were again sticky with cleaning solution. Hotel and room were very clean.

Beds were very comfortable. Strong cleaning solution smell. Bathroom floor sticky with cleaning solution.

Great place to stay good restaurants nearby....only complaint is the breakfast is sparse....food picked over even at 7:30 am.I always have to go somewhere else for breakfast. But otherwise I love it.

Room was quiet and comfortable, though housekeeping was poor. Had to ask the front desk for soap, toilet paper, and wash cloths. Also, the hot water doeant get very hot. The lady that checked us in was very helpful, though. Breakfast was okay and the fact that the room was under $60 and they had free breakfast was very nice. Overall the room was okay and we would stay again.

I was not happy with this hotel, because the manager was cruel and unconcerned about his guests. I have complained about roaches in my room from day one. The manager said he will take care of it but didn't;instead he insisted I leave since I'm not happy. Who in there right mind is happy with roaches crawling on the wall,tv and in food. I even request a other room the answer from him no... the manager name of that hotel is Jay.. Don't go there expect a good slept nor a good breakfast either..

Friendly staff, a little noisy with doors being shut.

The facility looks and feels tired. The room was minimally OK. TV old tube type. Found a dead bug in bed, looks to have been there a while. Breakfast was one of the worst for hotels offering this feature. They had about 10 tables with about 16 chairs, less that two per table. They had no meats and the grits pan was empty at 7 a.m., coffee was empty, no forks and no one servicing area. But it was about $40 for the night, what can you expect?

Water was cold in shower, and it smelled badly. I will never stay there again. I have had really good experiences before with other microtels

Experience was excellent and it was closed to a lot of dinner places.

My 2nd stay here in last several months. Its fairly new, and the first stay was pretty good considering the low low price, but it has already gone downhill. Flourescent light over bed (main room lighting) did not operate properly, breakfast offerings were very spotty, coffee empty until I prompted staff who was not doing anything at the time, ground floor ice machine broken with sign "get ice on 3rd floor," and the everpresent smell of bad air-freshener. The price is still attractive if you're trying to be budget-conscious, and its still far better than the price-comparable "doors open on the outside" budget motels, but still...

Hotel definitely needs some maintenance. No A/C in the hallways, extremely loud ice machine on third floor. Breakfast was adequate but there could at least be water as a beverage that someone does not have to pay for. Only took the room because I did get a great deal off of the price.

You get what you pay for. The rooms were small, but comfortable. Breakfast was minimal. The cost was reasonable for what you got. Would likely stay at a Microtel facility again. One maintenance issue: clearly the hallways had not been vacuumed that day; a condition that shouldn't exist.

Room 210 - keys would not open the door, air conditioner did not work, toilet would not flush, the phone did not work - time for another room. Room 116 - keys did not work, exhaust fan in bathroom did not work, bathtub was very slippery, beddings had holes, lights went out in the bathroom when we were packing to leave. Lobby - the entire time we were there, there was a bucket in the main lobby with dirty towels around it and a hole in the ceiling above. The front desk was rude and kept telling us the keys were fine and it was our fault (and the fault of the other guests who were having the same problem), no air conditioning in the lobby and halls, carpet was dirty and smelly. Breakfast the first day was not very good but the second day was leftovers from the first day. That was all there was to eat as the electricity had gone out. All in all it was our worst experience we had in a hotel.

This was a horrible experience. If I wasn't tired I would have gotten on the road to head home.
