We stayed here for 3 nights as a couple with a baby for a mini break. On check in the staff immediately tried to find us a roommate at the back of the hotel due to building works at the front whichever might disturb the baby. When we got to our room (207) they had set up the sofa bed which wasn't necessary suitable so we asked a staff member we found in the corridor if it could be out away. She immediately did so but then also provided a travel cot with mattress and sheets for our little one! I didn't realise they provided this service so this was a nice surprise. Room The room itself was an adequate size for the 3 of us. The bathroom was small but functional though no bath which we assumed would be standard for a family room. The room was clean and well maintained Location We chose this as was in the city centre however on reflection this is probably more suited to those on business rather than pleasure. It would have suited us more to be closer to the waterfront however saying that it wasn't a long walk to get to river/ park street so it didn't matter a huge amount. Parking Parking is available on site at a charge of £10 for 24 hours which compared to London prices is a bargain. There is a lift directly from the car park into the hotel floors which is helpful. It is an open car park though we left our car there for 3 daysand had no issues. Overall I would recommend this hotel to others but if location is key then this is more for business users.

Hotel is geared to handle business travellers and families - I have used for both business and personal stays. The staff are extremely friendly, professional & willing to accommodate requests from their visitors if at all possible. There are excellent menu choices for a meal at any time of the day or evening. Some areas of the hotel look a little tired but decorating is being done to improve this - not an easy task in a hotel that always seems busy. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel . Good firm and comfy bed . Bathroom is small but nice walk in shower. You eat in bar with the dog. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was only ok. But dinner was good in bar, burger was fab. Got own car park at back of hotel. In easy walking distance of centre. Nice size room - and reasonably priced

I have to say, I have not stayed in a Novotel before but I certainly would again. We had the hotel booked as a group of friends (stag weekend) and we could not have been more accommodated. The hotel is very clean and very efficient. The food was, in my opinion outstanding and there was a great selection of drinks in the bar. The rooms were a great size, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hotel in itself is centrally located for Bristol Temple Station and the city and all it has to offer. Couple of downsides; I did not drive up as chose to get the train but my friends did use the hotel car park. Personally, I think if you’re a guest in a hotel you should not have to pay for parking. Also, the rooms and hotel were very warm indeed. I turned down my heating system but the room was still hot. With the heating though, I did mention this and was offered a fan etc so not all bad. Would I stay again? absolutely and recommend the hotel to others.

This was a disappointment for the novotel brand. Apart from the customer service there was nothing 4 star about this hotel. Old furniture, rusty and mouldy bathroom. I detest hotels with mould especially if they raye themselves as 4 stars. I suggest the management of the hotel take a trip to the states to see what a 4 stat hotel is like. Photos attached.

The hotel is great. The staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel room is clean and comfortable. I will definitely stayy here and and other novotels again. Close to the train station and easy to find.

Sunday night and Monday morning. Quietest night of the week, so no management presence, and the staff take advantage of the situation. No-one at reception. Restaurant closed so eating in the bar area; it's a large open space and they had turned the heating down and all the public spaces were freezing. (It was cold outside, but that is what heating is for.) It was cold, cold, cold. Good size room, clean, all mod cons; parking £10. Breakfast ok, but they don't turn the plate heaters on (even though the plates are stacked in the heater) so your hot breakfast quickly goes cold. It's all basic management attention to detail, which was absent.

Located directly opposite temple meads station and a 5 minute walk from the heart of the city this is in a great spot. The hotel also has guest parking in an underground garage which is a bonus aa parking in Bristol city centre can be tough. Check in was easy and checkout can be fasttracked with keydrop and email bill. Rooms are large and comfortble and very well equiped. Bar area is pleasamt as is the restaurant. And you are only 5 minutes from the King Street area where lots of restaurants, bars and pubs can be found.

I stayed at the Novotel just for one night on a work trip and it was a pleasure as the hotel is wonderful and the service is great. Would surely recommend this place and stay there again if i visit Bristol

Stayed at this hotel for business trip.....check in was very efficient and friendly. ...excellent reception staff. The front of hotel and foyer is very luxurious. ...the bar staff were excellent too especially the young guy from Scotland ( didnt get his name sadly ) whose service was of a very high standard....he would fit in very nicely in a 5 star establishment no problem. The rooms were large some with bath some with only a shower....i had a bath thankfully as the shower screen was dirty along the bottom edge and in the corner however as wasnt using it didnt worry too much about it. The bed was a large double and very comfortable but didn't sleep well due to air con not working. They did supply a fan however. .. The food served at lunch time and dinner time was outstanding. ..very high quality and excellent choices so decided to have breakfast served in my room which was a huge mistake...asked for no mushrooms or tomatoes and along with a mountain of stone cold bacon sausage and eggs they were there....couldn't eat it ..so disappointing. .. The best thing bout this hotel is the staff they were excellent but the breakfast chef needs sacked. ....
