Wonderful location next to botanical gardens and with a great balcony overlooking it, pretty snazzy. The hotel is a bit run down and appears to be manned only by junior staff, although could not fault their willingness to help and try the best. Stayed in one bedroom apartment. Used laundry in room and although worked, was quite old and seemed to leak, leaving a rather wet floor. Fixtures and fittings in bathroom very basic. But functional. Bed ok, pillow too big and hard for my liking. Breakfast made to order. Does not offer free breakfast for kids up to 12, as many Accor properties do with and advantage plus card a d it annoys me that the policy is not clear with Accor about this. Seems a bit of a lottery, as I literally stayed in another Sebel the week before which did... go figure. Had eggs Benedict for breakfast and although not bad, eggs cooked solid for both my wife and myself.

This is our second stay in this wonderful accommodation. The service of the staff is caring and amazing. The accommodation has great views and is comfortable with everything that you could need. Close to relaxation and shopping. We will come again. Thank you.

Stayed here for one night to attend a concert at Riverstage. Great location near the park. Nice verandah. Layout of apartment was good and comfy bed. However, bathroom was very dated and had issues with maintenance and cleanliness. Missing tiles, marked floor and walls, and toilet wasn't working properly. The staff did try to fix the toilet, however their efforts did not succeed in the end. Had to resort to turning the toilet tap on the wall off to stop the large leak/constant running. There was no follow up phone call or conversation from the staff about it which was disappointing. There was no chance of a change of room as the hotel was booked out, so we just had to deal with it. Also TV in the bedroom didn't offer the 'movies' option, only the TV in the lounge did, which was a bit strange that both TVs didn't offer that service. Checkout time of 11am was reasonable, and valet service was nice. Probably will not choose to stay here again though as there are much nicer options nearby for same/cheaper price.

Unfortunately the extremely loud jack hammering and demolition going on at 1am in the morning was more than I could tolerate. No sleep for Friday night, Saturday night. And Sunday so going home early. Considering I am expected to pay $300+ a night. Not recommended until the new casino is completed. It's a shame because it was a good location.

Had a very nice stay at the Sebel. Rooms clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a bit tired and could do with an upgrade but overall very nice 1 bedroom apartment. Bedroom a bit noisy at night which was a negative.

We stayed 2 years ago & happy to return. Great location and helpful staff. The views over Botanic Gardens, Kangaroo Point and proximity to SouthBank and river are excellent. Spa pool out of action, lots of building and demolition nearby so didn't use the pool. This property is described as modern suits and upscale hotel. Restaurant small & basic furniture shabby. Rooms require to be refurnished looking tired and in need of repairs. We had issues with orginal room which was dealt with satisfactorily by management. We are gold ACCOR members this property is described as modern suites in an upscale hotel. Needs a good overall and redecoration to meet ACCOR standards.

Wonderful location a few minutes walk from the Mall, opposite the beautiful Botanic gardens. Our apartment had everything we could need plus fantastic views (19th floor!). Some aspects were becoming a bit 'tired'. The reception staff were professional, friendly and helpful in every way. Room service staff and the food were excellent. Highly recommend this hotel for individuals, couples or families.

For a hotel that prides itself on being 5 star, is in a wonderful part of the city and has great front of house staff to clearly take no pride in the housekeeping is disappointing. Stayed for two nights in two bedroom apartment 801. If you are travelling this has everything you want, including washer and drier, great views from a balcony overlooking Botanical Gardens and Brisbane River. Imagine then our disappointment when we returned on day 2 to find that bins had not been emptied, toilets not cleaned, dirty face washers left in the basin. In the bedrooms throw pillows left lying against the wall, bed runner thrown in a heap against the window. Not good enough. Stayed as it is Acor hotel, but there are other hotels within 500 m radius that know the meaning of 5 star, that will getting my business next time.

What a grea place to stay, so close the the gardens and river. I had a great room with seperate lounge and kitchen. The check in process was smooth and friendly and the staff very professional and attentive. I didn't have a chance to eat in the restaurant (only stayed 1 night) but had a complimentary drink at the bar which was appreciated !! My only complaint (which wasn't the hotels fault) was that the taxi driver got this place mixed up with another of the similar name about two blocks away so walking back with my bags at 9.30pm was interesting but safe nonetheless !! :)

Centrally located, bottom end of town. Great to access the markets on the weekend at the Botanical Gardens. Very pleasant front desk staff. Rooms were generous & clean. As an Accor member, i would have expected complementary water, but not the case. Helped us with a late check out, which was appreciated
