Brent on reception was an absolute gem. I needed to get an email printed and I couldn't work out how to do it. He figured it out for me while still manning reception and answering the phones. He was more than helpful, very kind. Very comfy room and close to everything. Great breakfast buffet the next day.
Stayed over on a trip to Gold Coast after a long train trip. Staff were accommodating, and we had an early check-in. The air con was set for us, and the room was lovely an cool on arrival. Beds were very comfortable. It would be great of there were better food options with clearly defined dietary restrictions on offer and room service would be fantastic. Apart from that, it is a great central location with comfy rooms and great air con. Will be back.
We were very disappointed on this trip to Brisbane. We really enjoyed our last visit so thought would return but no... The rooms although clean are very tired and dated. The kitchen apart from breakfast was closed. OMG who does this the week of and after Christmas no room service very disappointing
We came up to Brisbane to visit the Gallery of Modern Art and this hotel was very conveniently located (10 minute walk). We arrived quite early on the Saturday and were hoping the hotel would mind our bags until check in time. Brett served us and was extremely pleasant and as the room was already ready allowed us to check in early which was great and meant we could get ourselves organised before heading off to the gallery. The room was very clean but did smell quite strongly of cleaning chemicals (this may of been as it had just been cleaned). Comfortable bed, tv and fridge (complimentary tea/coffee). Hotel location was great and very close to the galleries and shopping precinct. Check out was again very simple and they stored our bags until later that afternoon for us which saved us having to carry them around in the heat. Friendly service (especially Brett), clean and convenient - we would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is close to all in downtown Brisbane, two blocks from the river, and walkable to South Bank attractions, restaurants & shopping. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Hotel is clean, not fancy, but definitely served us well. Would stay here again.
I stayed here in October 2017 for a book signing event. It was a great rate and the hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. The room I had was modern and clean. Can't fault it at all. The bar had some menu options and the burger tasted fantastic. Overall, an enjoyable stay!
We booked two twin rooms and both were roomy, clean and had two queen beds in each room. The rooms are in need of an update, but everything works and they are well maintained. Breakfast was not included in our booking but we simply added it on when we got there for $12 pp for a buffet breakfast, exceptional value for money. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choice! Would stay here again as great location and very easy to get around the city from here. Strongly recommend.
Location is good, in walking distance to any Brisbane attraction. Room small, carpet and mattress really old. Bathroom small but has all you need. Front desk staff ok. For what it offers it is too expensive.
Stayed two nights at a weekend just before Christmas, and at 100$ a night for two of us thought very good value for money. I admit it but it does look a bit tired but the staff where good and really just using it for a place to crash.
We enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Ibis. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Good central location. Nice buffet breakfast at hotel for reasonable price. Only negative is that you have to pay for parking.
