The first problem we had was getting through the door to our room. The key card seemed to work, but the door handle would not turn. It took about 20 tries and much jiggling to finally get the door open - each time we returned to our room. It also was very difficult to open from the inside. The temperature in the room was a little warm and I could not figure out how to turn on the air. Once again, it took about 20 tries randomly hitting the many buttons to get the air on. We brought our dog with us (nice perk that the hotel is pet friendly). We took him for a walk down by the lake. He went down to the water and sunk up to his belly in mud. My husband also ended up with mud caked all over his shoes. We returned to the room and put the dog in the shower. The shower is open to the toilet (ADA friendly) which would be fine if the floor wasn't slanted in the wrong direction from the drain. Water (and mud) ended up covering most of the bathroom floor. Luckily I brought my own towels and was able to clean it up fairly well. In the morning when I took a shower, everything was soaked - including the toilet - and there was a lake of water 2/3 of the way across the bathroom floor. The bed was tilted down towards the head of the bed, so it felt like I was on an inversion board. The pillow was the thickness of a napkin. Also, the pool was out of service. I have very little nice to say about this stay. It was a roof over our heads and not much comfort.
