The room not clean and has allot of spider big spider and ant all around I have to clean my room before we stay

The sad part is it has potential. Our hotel was the two story close to the lake. The view is beautiful. However the bed spread had a few cigarette burns, the bathtub was stained and towels had little stains here and there. I mean I guess if you are drunk, and just need to crash you won't notice. I just felt iky the whole time. Please update your rooms with the basics. Throw stained and torn things away!

Great stay. Comfortable. Good scenery and close to Big Bear Lake.

Good place to stay and cabins were nice. Lake was low but no big problem. Close to town and not too noisy except when pool is FULL of kids.

Hotel is close to lake and village, but the structure is old and there is NO A/C which made for an unpleasant stay in the summer. There are much nicer places for the same price.

We enjoyed the comfort of a rustic-like room perfect for the area

We arrived early by 2 hours the staff was very nice they checked us in early no big deal. The staff was very helpful and nice. Our cabin was very spacious. We walked to the village both days and had breakfast and shopped. We also walked down to the lake and sat on the deck and relaxed with a nice glass of wine. Our room was made up when we got back from the village each time. We will return and enjoy a get away soon.

I was very pleased with my stay at Big Bear Frontier! The room was very cute and cozy and had everything I needed! The fireplace was also an awesome bonus. This place is very pet friendly - I wasn't given any restrictions as to what I could or could not do with my pet and the fee was a simple $15 (plus tax per night.) The staff were kind and helpful and the location is close to everything you would want to see and do in Big Bear. My only complaint was that my next-door neighbors were being very loud late in the evening and I wanted to call the front desk to make a complaint. The front desk closes at 10pm so no one was there to help me. They offer an emergency number for when the office is closed but I wasn't sure if my problem warrented an emergency call. . .

nice stop over stay for some hiking but lake is very low

The hotel is located really closed to the lake, super quiet area but it is also near restaurants and interesting places. Staff is friendly and place is very clean and comfortable

We stayed in July- and even in Big Bear it is hot. Our room had a small fan and was 80 plus all day. On top of that, the heater could not be turned off! It was rusted, broken- and hot! Add a parking situation that can only be described as chaos (the front desk claimed there are dedicated spaces for each room, but none are marked and the staff just sits there doing nothing to help the situation). The property manager is simply unhelpful- at one point when we complained we could not park, and the staff would not help us, he told us to leave- and he would not refund our money. So we drove around the property for 10 minutes (tiny, narrow roads with cars haphazardly parked on both sides), before a maintenance person (the only one who leaves the office) told us there were two parking spaces behind our building that were blocked off. Why? No reason. So why didn't they just tell us this on arrival and save all the hassle? Who knows. All in all, I would never stay here, ever again. It is over priced, over crowded, uncomfortable and customer service is non-existent.

I stayed in the one bedroom cabin. cabin # 3 was super nice. I was supprised at how big it was when we got there. Therw is a huge comfortable couch in the loving room that sits 4, and a big comfy chair. it also has a little dining table and 4 chairs. The only reason i gave ot a 4 for cleanliness is because there was a few random ants cruising in the front room and bathroom.

Cozy hotel in the middle of Big Bear Lake. Comes with a fireplace in each room. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful and its a pet friendly resort.

Felt very comfortable and happy in this hotel. Very private and cozy! Right on the lake and walking distance from market and restaurants !

We were on a road trip in August 2014 and we stayed one night at this hotel. Since we did not spent that much time in the room I can only say that it was clean, the personal was nice and the overall stay was great. I would totally recommend this place.

Stayed for one night, room was clean and comfortable. Mini fridge was most welcome as was in room coffee maker. Bathroom amenities were a not great but surely serviceable. Over all a great little mountain space for a night.

We enjoyed our stay and plan on going back again soon. We enjoyed the Village being so close. And the Lake view was nice. There is a great Restaurant within walking distance. A long wait for the food, but is was very worth the wait. Also, a Dog friendly place, so we will bring out pet next time.

Room have a real outdoor feel ,they had plenty . a really great family area grill areas and beach area near the lake , also ,would like a outdoor movie area .

The hotel is situated right next to a marina and we were given a lake view room, which had a deck with chairs overlooking the marina. The room had a working stone fireplace which we didn't use since it was during summer but would have been great during winter. The toiletries were a bit small but it didn't really make a difference to the two of us for the one night stay. The hotel was situated in a charming grove of trees and the lobby had a pool table and library of DVD's. The beds were ok, but the pillows were the typical flat motel variety. All-in-all, a get what you pay for experience.
