I had to stay overnight in Brisbane as my next flight wasn't due to next morning. Very easy to take the air train from a/p to this hotel. 5 min walk from Central Station. It's in a very cool building. It was a large apartment with everything you could need for a more extended stay. Staff was great. Centrally located.
Save your money and book elsewhere. The room we stayed in was old, dated and looked nothing like the hotel's official photos. The bathroom had a mouldy shower (see pic), broken toilet flush and stained benchtop. The 'continental breakfast' was cheap white bread, poor quality tea and spreads that looked past their use by date. The window blinds were old and shabby with broken slats, which let a lot of light into the bedroom at night. The sauna/spa was also closed the whole time we were there due to a 'dispute with strata', so really the hotel should stop advertising this as an amenity. Reading through previous reviews it seems like some rooms might be more renovated than others, hence the positive reviews left by some. But if you're unlucky enough to get lumped with an old room like we did you will be extremely disappointed. The only pros were the friendly staff and hotel location which is close to central station. But there is no way this place qualifies as a 4 star hotel. We were tempted to lodge a complaint with fair trading for false advertising but I didn't want to have to think about the place again.
The customer service at this hotel was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and the staff were very friendly. The apartment was really nice and the proximity to Central Station was really useful. Being in the city centre there was some noise at night as you would expect but nothing out of the ordinary!
Very comfortable. I had a huge lounge with a work desk - very useful, sofa, giant TV, and a tiny kitchen, which I didn't expect. The bedroom was small but very comfortable with a spacious ensuite. The building was right opposite Central station, and strangely decorated, almost as though they were trying to make it look a bit run-down. I will certainly be back.
The rooms are virtually serviced apartments A light breakfast basket was provided The staff were extremely helpful The hotel is close to central station and city centre making it an excellent option if you are arriving from the airport
We booked in here for four nights over Easter 2018 and greatly enjoyed it. The location is outstanding and Brisbane is great. While only on the 3rd floor, there was very little noise and overall our room was quiet and could be made dark when we wanted to sleep in. The staff were friendly and helpful and there were free newspapers in the lobby. This is a small and quaint hotel and we loved the architecture and lifts. The room was a reasonable size and the bed great. A washer-drier was a great addition. The small breakfast basket either needs serious improvement (the rooms have a kitchenette) or removing. Reception hours are quite limited, but we did not need to contact them as we know the area well. We have booked in here for a week next month and are looking forward to it. Location, Location, Location.
I was silly not reading TripAdvisor reviews before booking. The free breakfast is a prepared basket with no choice of juice, milk, bread, condiments etc. The tea bags are not sealed and opened due to age. My room 506 looks nothing like any of the photos with the furniture tired and dated. The shower screen is rusted and grout disgusting. Several slats in the blinds are missing and the air conditioning is very noisy. Oh and no rubbish bin in the kitchen. Beautiful building with a fantastic bed though.
Booked for a long weekend and the accommodation was lovely. Lounge, kitchen and bathroom including a washer/dryer. Clean and well furnished. Reception staff are more than helpful. Very well positioned for the CBD with Central Station just up the road. Only a few car parking spaces which are an extra charge so book your space. Would certainly use this boutique hotel again. Good cafe next door for coffee through to evening meal.
Stayed here for three nights and were very impressed. Good size apartment with lounge/kitchenette area, perfectly functional bedroom and a bathroom with the biggest sink you've ever seen! Only tiny gripe would be that the blinds didn't keep too much light out so we were awake early most mornings. Side note - after hours check in (after 6pm) was a breeze - simply involved calling from a phone in the lobby, getting a code for the safe in order to access the room key.
We stayed in an apartment which was huge. Beds are super comfy and heaps of space. A bonus was the breakfast basket. Would stay here again. The only downfall is there is not much signage so a little bit hard to find. Great customer service.
