One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Spacious, comfortable room. Great breakfast. Had the best steak I’ve had in ages at Lamberts Restaurant. Terrific view over the city from the Eagles Nest, enjoyed with a cold beer. Five minute walk to get the ferry into the city (50 cents per trip), or a 15 minute stroll across the Kangaroo Point bridge. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough, and would stay again in an instant.

I love the area that the property is in and I adore the beautiful walk to Southbank from there and the view of the CBD. The staff are all really friendly and the breakfast is superb and offers great value for money. I had a lovely view from my balcony. I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay and I felt very safe as a solo traveler. I stayed at the hotel at the same time last year and am already planning to book again next year.

I stayed at The Point Hotel Brisbane for 9 days. The property was clean and well-serviced, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, for the price paid, I expected a bit more attention to detail. Some issues I’d read about in previous reviews — such as the loud air conditioning (which sounded like a car engine) and the TV not working — were still unresolved, which was disappointing and shows a lack of follow-through on guest feedback. I’d be happy to stay here again in the future if these maintenance concerns are addressed, as the location and service otherwise made for a pleasant stay.

The hotel is very good, but it is some distance from shops and convenience stores. The new Kangaroo Point bridge does make it only a 15 min walk to the CBD.

The location continues to be one of its best features — close to everything, but still a quiet retreat after a busy day. We also appreciated the consistently high quality of the food, especially the generous breakfast spread.

Really nice big room for extended stay. But while the room was clean it is getting a bit tired. AC kept changing from locked on cold to heater at random times making sleep difficult

We were disappointed that the amenities were not up to par. The menus were not suited for vegetarian guests.. The street elevator still didnt work......being 75years old with leg issues, made it very painful to go for walks. We had only soap in dispensers in the bathroom...the dispensers we stiff and not usable with arthritic hands......again painful. The temperature of the room was ridiculously cold...we complained twice.. Got no results...it was COLD. We won't be back. ...after spending top dollar and not getting attention needed for a comfortable stay.
