Overall was very good experience, could be a little cheaper for breakfast but overall very happy. Might not be going back due to work commitments but I’ll happily stay at the Hilton in the new cities I’ll be visiting
The Hilton Brisbane is in the perfect position to take in the sights and sounds that Brisbane has to offer. It's situated near to the river, where, on the other side is the south bank. Where lots of bars, restaurants, and street entertainment is going on. The rooms are the very standard Hilton you would expect. Not spectacular. But perfectly adequate. The staff are very friendly and efficient.
Toilet in room was too low this made it very difficult to get off the toilet and my room mate had had knee surgery. Apart from that our stay was awesome, at the conference lunch was provided however no chairs or tables were.
A magical ten day stay at the Hilton Brisbane a wonderful property with amazing staff and service. Food was sublime and the amenities fabulous! We loved our stay and highly recommend the Hilton Brisbane
Excellent location in the heart of shopping and close to the river. Typical business hotel with an expensive breakfast - given the price of room, it should have been included. Reception staffed with professional people
This hotel used to be great. The service is still great but it is now very expensive and getting tatty. The carpets in the corridors are worn out and lumpy, almost a trip hazard. Breakfast is nowhere near as good as it used to be.
My husband and I recently stayed at the Hilton in Brisbane for the first time and it was a great experience. It is in a great central CBD location with direct lift access from the lobby to both Queen and Elizabeth Sts. The lobby/reception area (with bar and restaurant) on Level 6 were spacious and opulent and filled with a divine fragrance throughout our stay. Quite how they manage that in such a huge space is beyond me but it smelled incredibly good without being overwhelming. The concierge and reception staff were just superb right throughout our stay (as were restaurant/club lounge and house-keeping staff). The professionalism, friendliness, attentiveness and general attitude towards guests was present and on offer from every staff member we encountered. We are used to a high level of service in high-end properties and expected the Hilton would be good but it exceeded my expectations in this regard. We were even personally greeted by a guest services manager who made the effort to come and introduce himself to us in the Club Lounge just after we arrived. I am a total neat-freak and really appreciated what a great eye for detail the house-keeping staff obviously had every time our room was serviced....this was always done to a high standard. We stayed in a King Hilton Suite which was really spacious and well laid out. We had a comfortable bed and nice views. We had quite a lot of luggage and it was great to have plenty of room to unpack things and for the suitcases (which we then didn't have to live out of). My only slightly negative comment re the room would be that the bathroom (which is lovely) isn't very private. But the large suite meant this could easily be negotiated... We ordered room service once and dined in the restaurant/bar once and the food was great. I never expect much of hotel room service food but this was really good!! I highly recommend both the Vintaged Burger and the Caesar Salad. The breakfasts were also delicious...especially the pastries. The Hilton in Brisbane must have a very good Pastry Chef!!! Breakfasts were Continental in the Club Lounge or Continental plus cooked in the restaurant. The canapés and wines in the Club Lounge were great too. A minor negative comment re the Club Lounge...I felt it could do with a little bit of a revamp to update the decor... The Internet was great too. I didn't look at the pool or gym but my husband did and said both were very nice. I've stayed at a couple of other very nice Brisbane Hotels but the Hilton is my favourite so far. What else can I say....we'll be back!
Stayed for five nights. All staff encountered were professional and extremely friendly, all requests were met with a "can do" attitude. Housekeeper personalized the room with extra coffee and water when she noticed we were consuming this! Will be back!
Very nice , clean , tidy and pleasant stay. I was made welcome on arrival and check out. Staff were very obliging when spoken too. the view and sleeping was great . Bathroom was spacious and no tub to step into. Location is very handy being right on the mall, plus conference being there made it very easy to access.
Although brief I would highly recommend the Hilton Brisbane. From the point of arrival the standard was 1st class. The location is perfect. Only a short walk to amazing restaurants. Public transport virtually at your door. We will be back..
