We went to Brisbane and chose the Mantra for its location. There is a small shopping centre with Woolworths adjacent to the hotel. The hotel is an easy walk to the Valley or the City. The beds were comfortable and I have no complaints. I would stay here again.
The staff were very friendly and efficient, hotel was a bit too far from where I needed to go on this trip. Restaurant was not open evenings. Hotel need a renovation. Having said that the friendly helpful staff saved the stay. Apartment was for most part comfortable except for beds (pretty bad) and needs reno
Very polite staff underdone a bit by tired rooms that could do with a 21st century spruce up. Add USB ports for charging, make sure the TV's actually work, the main one in my room didn't. Charging for WiFi, seriously, mantra payfor it anyway and Wifi access is so cheap now charging customers extra is lame
was disappointed, Mantra on Cavill was 5 star rating, much better stay in comparison location of hotel was not the best for shopping malls. Washing machines on floor, 2 were broken/not working correctly. Had to use dryer in basement to dry clothes
Stayed here for a night when attending a function at Johnny Ringo's across the road. The reception staff were wonderful, the breakfast buffet was one of the best (the host took us through all the items on offer rather than just pointing in the general direction!) The apartment was clean and comfortable and a great view from the 27th floor. Just a few minor niggles, mentioned here for management to attend to; if you press the wrong buttons in the far lift, the doors can open against a blank wall; the pool and spa were closed although the receptionist was unaware of it; we opted for a bath instead but there was no plug and the receptionist couldn't find us one; we plugged the outlet with wet toilet paper but the spa motor wouldn't switch on; there was tea and coffee in the apartment, but no milk. I would stay here again, but take my own bath plug, just in case!
Good clean apartment with good amenities. Convenient location to my place of work and to great river side restaurants. It's a nice location to recommend to others. I'll be back to that property when I return to Brisbane.
I found the shower head to be too low. Also received a small electric shock from the power board in the lounge room. My room didnoffer breakfast however the breakfast service did not begin until 6:30am which was too. Front team where all very friendly.
Room was a little dusty. Otherwise clean Pillows were great. Need quality toilet paper Staff were excellent, polite and helpful. Need free wifi with room for at least 1 day. I was under the impression it came with the room and in house movies. These were only available to purchase
Upon arriving to our room we found it uncomfortably hot, we left for an event shortly after expecting it would cool while we were out but when we got back during the night it was still not at a suitable temperature. There was a damp carpet/musty smell in the room which was off putting and in general we noticed the room was not clean. We previously would have chosen Mantra hotels with confidence in several cities around Australia but from now on we will be looking elsewhere.
