Good location with a great view, particularly when it came to viewing a spectacular thunder and lightning storm! Our 2 person apartment was a good size with a great comfy bed. Room service was excellent.
Great City Location. Car park is nightmare to navigate and park a larger car. I had to ask for our bottle of welcome wine the second day, Buffet breakfast was very nice with lots to chose from . would stay again.
Business or personal travel, it’s a great place to stay. Friendly staff with high standards of customer service. The location was perfect! Easy walking distance to all surrounds. Comfortable rooms! Would definitely stay again!
Disgusting place to stay, the rooms were very tired and in need of total refurbishment. The blankets had stains, the furniture was also stained. The walls were damaged, the curtains wouldn't close all the way. The stove was rusted, the coffee cups had to be rewashed. Never again! Try another hotel.
Stayed for a Business trip - so checked in late, not central to anywhere but fast food to get something to eat, but the Breakfast and Coffee in the Café downstairs made up for this in the morning. Comfy bed and pillows made for a good night sleep
The service of the staff is all smiles and they are genuinely nice. That has positively coloured my stay there as the property itself does not have anything special. The gym is tiny as is the pool (which is outdoors and cold when the weather is not hot), the treadmill was not working. I could hear kids through walls from the next room. However, the staff accommodated for my dietary requirements, they offered to bring my dessert to my room because I was tired, they very amiably removed a payment item even though I had misplaced my drinks voucher that they had given me, etc. I left feeling well cared for.
I like the location it is close to our office in Brisbane and I like the restaurants along the river. The hotel is also close to the Mall, where you can go shopping and maybe have a meal. The river is beautiful and it is nice if you want to go for a walk.
Easy walking to everything you need to see in Brisbane CBD. Rooms very comfortable with lots of amenities for a great weekend away. Would recommend this Mantra to all who need to travel to Brisbane city.
We stayed overnight and found the room a good size with a comfortable bed and just right pillows. The bathroom was a bit small but adequate and the toiletries were a good quality. Budget wise we booked a city view room but did find the view quite interesting. The young woman who booked us in was exceptional at her job so the visit got off to a good start. As mentioned in almost all the reviews the parking spaces are ridiculously small but we were aware so no huge problem and compared with other Brisbane parking fees it was reasonable. The only sour note was the spa was not heated and when we asked about it at reception was told they would get onto maintenance and that they were waiting for a part. It was cold for all of our stay. We deliberately book hotels with a spa so this was a big disappointment. There is an expectation from guests that the hotel facilities will all be available to use so this was a big let down. The breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. We would stay here again but only if the spa worked. It’s a bit of a walk to the Mall but we enjoyed the exercise and seeing the city sights. It is not the flashiest of hotels in Brisbane but we liked it and overall good value for money.
The room was clean and comfortable the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is good for its closeness to restaurants, and is only a short walk to the city centre. I would certainly consider the Mantra as my place to stay in Brisbane.
