I always stay at the Mantra on Queen because of the staff. They are a real credit to Mantra, and really the level of service is what makes bricks and mortar a great place to stay. Everything is great, the staff are incredibly welcoming, they look directly at you with a smile and make you feel like you are someone they enjoy talking to, like family. Each time I talked to all the staff including the Desk Manager (Annie), and all the Desk Staff (special mention for Rheanne, and Karen), the Cooks, Cleaners, Barista, and especially the Dining Room team, each person without exception was incredibly helpful, friendly, and made sure that where possible I was looked after. I do not normally take time to write these but feel that I owed it to the team at Mantra to let you know how great they were. If you truly value this feedback call me (Antony Butler) on 0412910912.
Good location but for what you pay it is visually very dated in the rooms. Didn't have great water pressure or amount so that made showering uncomfortable but otherwise an alright place to stay. Breakfast is good.
Beautiful apartment and views, amazing helpful staff, great location just take ear muffs unless you are use to city living and the 24/7 sirens. We stayed from Wednesday to Saturday and I must say Friday night wasn't any noisier than Wednesday night.
As always, we were far from disappointed with the wonderful and comfortable, 1 bedroom apartment. The location is fabulous for spending time between the Valley and the City. Customer service at Mantra on Queen is always perfect with staff going that bit extra to be helpful and a stand-out from other places. Just wish we could have stayed longer.
This place is smack bang in between Brisbane City and Fortitude Valley and was therefore a great spot for our celebratory night out. The staff were welcoming and the room was ok, just ok. Neat and tidy but really dated and in need of a refurb. We enjoyed the afternoon on the teeny tiny balcony watching the sun set and sadly in the early evening the hot water didn't work in the shower. Our car-parking fee was waved for our inconvenience, which was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable although I'm not sure it was all worth the hefty price tag but we had the essentials, comfy beds and good location.
While on our trip we became stuck in the elevator for the best part of an hour. Once the tech was on site we were offered water by the receptionist for our inconvenience. When checking out we were told "yeah, were experiencing some issues". On all occasions getting in the lifts at the mantra on queen they felt poorly looked after and didn't sound too promising.
We stay the Mantra because of its location between the CBD and Fortitude Valley. We are regular travellers so we .just want a minimum of fuss and good value. Check in is efficient and our stays have always been problem free
Go out for meals, as limited options for room service and no food offers on a Monday! the corridor light shone through the entrance door so the room was never in darkness and it made for a broken sleep
the hotel looked nice and we got a great deal for the 2 nights. it was very close to the mall. had a woolworths across the road which was great and there were bus stops very close by. only down side was we had to pay for parking
Great location and service but the hotel is very tired specifically rooms and they desperately needs refurbishment. Room had a lot of street sound and sound from over rooms. The hotel staff where warm and friendly
