Great location just a few little quirks

Check in was slow as no one available but he was lovely when arruved. Check out lady coukdve had more of a personality. Shame that scaffolding was being put up so no lay in. Great location though, clean room. Shame couldnt book hot tub and pool as night manager was unhelpful.

Hotel is having a refit at the moment, not a big problem . Hotels in need of a general overhaul, bits and pieces need doing in and around the rooms. Breakfast was ok.

Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. The hotel is in an excellent location and was easy to get to using public transport. My son enjoyed the bunk beds in the family room and tea/coffee etc were replenished daily. The pool and jacuzzi were great.

Pleasant Stay

Nice hotel, close to the centre and an easy walk to the beach. Very clean. A bit dated in areas - but nothing to worry about. Tip - if you are using the pool bring flip flops and a robe as the changing rooms are down some stairs and are a bit cold - this way yiu could just straight from/to your room.

It’s a beautiful hotel at an amazing location. Loved the room and my favourite part about the stay was the pool and jacuzzi, just fab!! However, the breakfast was terrible- we were hoping for a buffet but they gave us a single plate of vegetarian breakfast- had very less options in food and it was very oily! Stay here however, have breakfast at a local cafe next door as there are many many options outside.

Conveniently located

Great location for BIC however, wasnt impressed with the room. It was incredibly hot in there, we had to prop the window open with a toilet roll, which meant we had to listen to the traffic and the locals outside during the night. Which coincided with the other hotel residents slaming the doors in the early hours. The bed was very soft and lumpy, the room was ok overall but needed some tlc - damp marks on the wall, leaky soap dispenser. Breakfast was basic but did the job.

Great Hotel. Great place.

Exceptionally clean. Room with everything you need. Beds very comfortable. Staff are amazing! So helpful, professional and friendly. Loved the swimming pool. Enjoyed the comfortable chairs and tea and gorgeous cake in the afternoon. Great barman with a fantastic sense of humour. Loved the Victorian architecture. Right next to everything eg shops, beautiful park, restaurants, the pier. Will definitely return. Highly recommended.

It was really nice and lovely, check in was pretty easy, but we have paid extra for a room with a patio and a king size bed. We approached A lady who works morning shift with this issue, she said the key to patio was lost, so she brought a key from a different room thinking it would fit… it just seems an unsafe option for all patio doors to have exactly the same key, thank god it did not fit. She offered to exchange room to 2 single beds which we did not agree to as we book one king for a reason and after that she couldn’t help us with it anymore. Also we were coming back from town and wanted to book a slot for a pool and straight away her answer was “pool facilities are only for hotel guests” which is quite rude way to respond. She could have asked if we stayed there instead. A huge shout out to Levi (not sure if I spelt his name right) worked from 2:30pm to 10pm. Really nice guy ! Made our stay very welcoming and friendly.
