Everything is run down and don't look clean and smelly. People fighting in our room next door.

Great hotel! Was passing through and couldn’t have been happier with the stay. Recommend highly!!!

There is a club to dance at and a nice sports bar.

Checking in took much longer than it should have due to the one person at the counter. She was giving advice to the previous guest, which I appreciate, but when you see another guest in line for over five mins its time to move on. Someone else eventually came over and checked us in. The memory foam mattress was really uncomfortable. On the positive side, the second floor bar was great as well as the overall design of the place. We appreciated everything being open late so we didn't need to leave the hotel for food and drinks.

Didn’t like the parking accommodations and fees. I had never stayed in a hotel that charged extra for parking.

We stayed at the hotel for one night, we thought it will be a cool hotel to stay at because it is a new hotel in Bakersfield. BIG mistake to stay on a weekend if you like quietness when you sleep. On the weekend they have a club, and the room was basically right above the club. We heard everything that night, I woke up with a horrible headache. Then that morning we were ready to leave, and the elevators were out, and my husband has bad knees that it was tough to walk down the 5 flights of stairs. We spoke to the front desk agent who was nice and told us she could accommodate us for the next visit because we booked on Orbitz they can’t give us a discount. The Agent told me she needs to get this approve and when she came back, she said to me sorry not approve, but for your next stay 20% off. I ask for the manager who her name was Marissa and she was very unprofessional and did not help at all. She told me you signed off on our form that we explained about the noise and I told her no one explained about the noise all they explained was I was signing for the amenities for extra charges. Marissa was just repeating her self, and I was getting really fed up that I raised my voice to her and told her enough and you are no help. When I started to walk away, my husband said to me that she began to laugh at me. WOW, and she is a manager very unprofessional. We are doing business in Bakersfield, and we are looking at hotels to stay at, but this one lost our business for sure.

Great hotel, nice vibe, good food, nice staff and a great location.

The only place we will ever stay at when visiting Bakersfield. And the food and drink was excellent in every way!

Excellent staff, great bar menu and comfortable room

Top notch staff. Beautiful decor in a welcoming environment.

Service and Management are terrible. Manager Matt and Serta are extremely unprofessional, sarcastic, and very rude. They claim they are a 4 diamond hotel. However, I woulda only rate them 3 star hotel and that is being generous.

The hotel was not in the greatest areas, but we changed our perspective and decided that we would look at it as just being in a historic area! The hotel was very nice inside, and even though it was updated you could imagine the original hotel in all it's glory. Having the shower butted up against the bed with a glass window was kinda cool. Clever use of space. But, the room was very small overall. Since we were only staying for one night, it was fine. We would consider staying here again, not on floor 7 which is apparently where the ghosts hang out. The hotel bar was very lively, we didn't use the restaurant because we got in too late. The coffee shop was a welcome addition in the morning. Overall, we enjoyed our brief stay.

I liked the friendliness of the staff cleanliness of the hotel and the relaxed valet parking. The bar and grill staff was not prompt couldn’t get the WiFi to work and the Belvedere restaurant is very expensive for what you get.

I was surprised that such a hip hotel exists in Bakersfield. Comfortable, modern, attractive. The pillow top king size bed was super comfortable. Hipster country kitsch decor details. Quiet despite hopping night club with dueling pianos in the lobby. An excellent value!

Our air conditioner was out, it was hot as hell. The repair man who couldn't fix it said it had been that way for a while but they still rented out the room. If it wasn't for that the stay would have been just fine.

Real fancy place for being in Bakersfield the rate for a weekend was not bad and the hole inside of the hotel is very up to date great place to stay I STAYED ON THE 7TH FLOOR AND YES THE HOTEL IS HUNTED! !!!!! NO B.S. Other then that great place

We had a fabulous time , enjoying the room and the restaurants. Staff for the hotel and restaurants were very helpful , friendly and professional.

Thank you for staying with us and for this feedback. I'm sorry that your check-in experience did not meet expectations and will work with the team to ensure we are greeting and assisting all guests in a timely manner. Our memory foam mattresses are typically beloved by guests, but if a firm bed is your preference we can remove the mattress topper.

Hi there, thank you for the 4 out of 5 ranking. We offer the valet parking service for $10 a night, like many hotels that are situated in a downtown area with limited public parking available. Thank you for staying with us, and I hope you consider us again in the future.

Thanks for the 3 out of 5 rating. Please let us know what we can to do to bump that up to a 5 out of 5 and an all around perfect experience.
