self park is a nice option

Right size not too big

The property itself was very nice and offered a lot of things so you wouldn’t have to leave the hotel. Very close to the Thomas Wolfe house which is fantastic. Our bathroom counter was dirty and and the in room creamer for the coffee was expired (so always check it before you drink it)! There was another patron (out of the hotels hands) that had a little too much to drink at the lobby bar and ended up hitting the floor in front of our child. Very nice space - but we would come back just the two of us and not with our kids.

Good location

Beds were comfortable, great location. Walking distance to everything. Had to call down and request a couple things, seemed like the cleaning staff didn’t restock the room after being cleaned. I had to request towels, hand soap and a do not disturb sign. Received just the towels after making the request.

Very crowded lobby areas and EXTEMELY long wait times & even lines st times for the elevators. If I wasn’t on 1 of the upper floors I would have taken the stairs, if I could find them. Overall a nice hotel In a fairly nice downtown location. A little loud on the highway side of the hotel and a bit expensive for what it is. A fairly small room and a quite small bathroom and $20 / day to Self park…

Inside was nice.. room was very small. Bathroom door was a sliding door with no lock or vent fan. Picture fell off wall. Didnt seem clean. Housekeeping came in without masks. They didnt have enough.linens for our 4 person reso and never delivered more. Pool was ni e but pool furneeds desperately to be cleaned

The hotel was nice, the lobby area was cute and quaint. The room was clean, nice beds and bedding and location was great. They were short staffed only one person working for check in and check out so there was a line, also the hot tub was not working which was a huge disappointment! We would stay agan!

.

Had a horrible experience here. Let me preface this by saying this was in part absolutely my husbands fault. My husband put $1500 cash in the coffee box in the room. The next morning we rushed to leave and he realized he left it there. He immediately went back to the hotel when he realized, and surprise surprise it was gone. The ONLY person that had been in the room was the cleaning guy. The hotel security was VERY arrogant with my husband and said he asked the guy if he took it and the guy said no, (UM of course he did.) and he believes him!!! My husband explained to him that besides my son and I he was the ONLY one to enter the room, and that of course he took it. The security guys response “I’m sorry you feel that way!” He wouldn’t let him even talk to the guy that cleaned the room. That was it. Nothing else was done. We were told a manager would call us, but that has yet to happen. Again my husband should not have left his money there, but there was no offer to investigate further etc…. This is obviously just a small indication of how this hotel is being run. I wouldn’t trust it there ever again.

Nothing was open or available for the guest. Very under staffed. Rooms were not cleaned for the entire 5 day stay. No restaurant. It was closed due to COVID. wOW!!!!

The hotel is clean, modern with an organic flare. This is one of the many local trolley pick up/drop off points. It is also pet friendly!

Do not book here. I could not change or cancel my reservation without $200 to $500 in fees even with trip protection and 3 weeks notice!

All good.

Good location Room was nice

For the price I paid for this hotel,I am extremely disappointed. I have a 10 month old daughter and was not allowed to unload my luggage nor was I offered a luggage cart simply for the fact that I chose to self park instead of paying for valet parking. Fortunately, I had my mom and sister to help me unload my luggage and carry it to the room, but I have never stayed at a hotel where I wasn't allowed to use a luggage cart. The staff was very rude and unpleasant from the moment I pulled in and declined valet parking. We visited Asheville to look at wedding venues and was hopeful to find a hotel for our guest to stay at, and this is absolutely not the place. The wait staff and cleaning staff were excellent and kind, but the doorman, concierge, and desk attendants were rude and unhelpful.

Pool heater was broken so freezing pool temps. Pool area was dirty with stained fabric and Old bandaids/ trash littering deck area. Room was very small with no table or desk to eat meals. Not all cable channels worked

I am so disappointed in this hotel when we got there and came to our room the fridge was not working then in the middle of the night to be exact 3 o’clock something in the morning Their fire drill went off they had three firetrucks come when called downstairs to ask what was going on they said not to worry about and go back to the rooms they woken up my kid they disrespected me by hanging up on me while I was talking on the phone very rude staff especially the lady working night swift When checking out asked to speak to a manager where the lady was very rude at check out and would not give me the phone number of the manager took my phone number in my name and said that he would call me it’s been two days since she said he was going to call me that day and no call at all For what you guys charge you would expect to get good service at least be polite to your customers I will be playing more than to the manager whenever he calls me I will get on top of this and I would like those two women to be fired and hire somebody professional who knows what they’re doing and who can be respectful to me We are canceling our other reservations that we made here also we told the people we were going with to cancel their reservation also you guys will go out of business and I mean it

Dear Brent,Thank you so very much for staying with us and sharing this experience with us. Our standards of cleanliness and amenities is very high and certainly the cleanliness and expired creamer is very unacceptable. We have looked at all guest rooms to ensure that the creamer is not a hotel wide issue and can confirm that this has been addressed with our team. Please accept my humble apologies for this situation. I am delighted that you enjoyed the location and look forward to the honor of serving you again soon.BestNeville ErasmusGeneral Manager
