Great hotel with proper setup in lobby for easy entry and access. Signs well posted for social distancing and extremely well laid out. The view on the 12th floor is amazing and the king bed was well worth the trip. Room was clean so great job.

Property was elegant & comfortable. There was a problem with trash lingering on the back patio - I had to inform staff of the excess waste and overflowing barrels from the night before.

Nice guest service. Staff was very friendly. Room was ready on time

Great king bed room-kind of small bathroom. Overall beautiful hotel, cool inside pool and great location to downtown Asheville!

The lobby area seemed clean and orderly and the front desk personnel was friendly and very accommodating. The laundry facilities needed a little cleaning, washing powder on the floor but overall OK. The smokers area outside should have been moved farther away from the front door. There were a few areas in our room which obviously had not been dusted in quite awhile but overall the room was in good order.

Great location in Asheville and close to the BRP. Clean, parking and nice staff.

Great on site bistro-nice indoor pool area with plenty of seating.

This was my second stay in this hotel. It's very nice, clean, comfortable, and in a great location in downtown Asheville.

They Missed cleaning our room! Very disappointed with that. This is an expensive Renaissance... really!? Also did not have feather free bedding prepared as requested. Did change over bedding as we came into the room. Assured us feather free. Two pillows were not and I had an asthma attack. They were kind enough to refund one night stay out of our two nights. Still the take full responsibility for these things. The best for comfortable the bedding and linens were wonderful. This is an upgraded hotel but still needs or work for sure. The best part was that it was a wonderful location and the staff was very friendly.

Convenient location, easy to walk downtown. Several restaurants & shops within a couple of blocks. Beautiful, eclectic decor. Very helpful staff. We were able to book our trolley tour right in the lobby & it picked us up right in front. Room was clean & comfortable. Great Hot Tub & large pool area with better than usual hours (open 6am-11pm). We loved it!

Wonderful older hotel located within walking distance of downtown Ashville. Rooms spotless although a bit on small side. Perfectly quiet and staff friendly and Staff accommodating. Once again super stay.

I’ve stayed at the Asheville Renaissance numerous times, and is always an enjoyable experience. It’s location within a block of everything core downtown Asheville has to offer with plenty of parking makes it number 1. It is a Renaissance Hotel and their properties world wide lean luxurious with all amenities. The Asheville Renaissance is older and around the edges was getting a little shop worn, still old luxurious, great staff, but needed a face lift. When I booked my most recent stay I did it through Orbitz not talking directly to hotel. The Asheville Renaissance is currently undergoing a much needed renovation, but there is construction on going, some facilities, like the pool is closed, and regular work out area greatly diminished. They made accommodations for workouts close by at the YMCA, but it’s the Y not a luxury hotel. That said it still was a great vacation stay for me, I look forward to polished shined and upgraded property on my next return. PS-Renaissance Asheville, please spruce up the exterior of the building and give it landscape makeover as well, it’s win win against your Hotel competitors.

Overall it was a good experience, there were a few hickups along the way though. I went to eat dinner at the restaurant(which had decent food, if a bit over priced) and it took 10 minutes before anyone came to the host desk to seat me, and not because they were busy, there was only one other occupied table in the restaurant. One of the other staff had to go get someone before I was seated. The room itself was decent, Ive stayed in a lot worse, but you could tell it was a little less cared for than it used to be, like this used to be a fancy hotel but now is a little forgotten. I also had the room next to the elevators and not only could I hear the guests, but the employees walked around through the night with walkie talkies. The house keeping staff also barged into the room while I had the do not disturb sign on the door an hour and a half before checkout. Over all I would stay there again. Its right on the edge of downtown so its easy to get to from the highway and still within walking distance but if you don't mind paying a little more there are places better situated in downtown.

This hotel is nice and super convenient to walk to downtown. Its clean and quiet.

Our locations are definitely one of the things we are very proud of about our hotel. We are so lucky to have a property in the heart of [insert name of your city here] and a very strategic location that brings our guest just a few steps away from must-see attractions and modern-day conveniences.
