This hotel is overpriced for what they offer. The lobby is old and needs some decor and new furniture. The elevator takes too much time to catch it. The room was clean and good bed, the bathroom clean and good lighting inside all Room. With fridge, microwave and coffemaker. It was a nice room.

We did not have air conditioning the three days that we stayed. We complained to the front desk on 7 different occasions. On our last night, a technician came to our room around 10pm and got the AC unit working, but it stopped after 10 minutes. We were told they would bring fans to our room but never did. It was so unbearable and uncomfortably hot.

I am a loyal Hilton guest and have always chosen Hilton for my business and personal travel because I trust the brand's quality and service. Unfortunately, my recent stay at the Hilton Midtown Central Park West in New York was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I arrived at approximately 11:30 p.m. and was assigned a room with two queen beds, although I had reserved a king room. The room was in unacceptable condition: the carpet was ripped, there was mold throughout the bathroom and shower, several electrical outlets did not work, bedside lamps were broken, there was visible dust on the bed and bed frame, and the room was dirty. The air conditioner made an extremely loud noise, like a failing motor, making it impossible to sleep. I repeatedly called the front desk, but no one answered. I then contacted Hilton Customer Care, submitted photos, and opened Case #272618660. The following morning, I was moved to a king room. While it was an improvement, it was still not properly cleaned, and the air conditioning was not working correctly. As a result, I had to postpone my business meetings and spent valuable time dealing with customer service instead of working. This experience fell far below Hilton's standards. Given the condition of both rooms, the lack of sleep, the disruption to my business trip, and the significant inconvenience, I respectfully request a full refund for my stay. The hotel is 34 floors and appeared to be well occupied. One of the three elevators was out of service for a lot of our stay. This sometimes made for long wait times and full elevators. And we were on a floor that made using the stairs essentially impossible.

The location was perfect for our trip. Getting around to the various area we needed to go was easy. The many food places around gave us great options to sit and dine. Proximity to Central Park allowed for early morning runs before starting the day. The room was clean and comfortable. The elevators malfunctioned one day and it was a little tiresome waiting to go up to the room. During peak hours, it took a little longer to wait for elevators…which is not unusual for a busy hotel. Definitely a place to consider staying in the future.
