Room overlooked York Minster & river-lovely views. Bed & room were really comfortable however every night the pub across the river-mid week played music/live band until 11.30pm so struggled to get out early morning for trips. On Friday nights & weekends hotel provide earplugs to rooms.

Great hotel. Our room was river view with lovely view of the Minster too. Breakfast loads of choice. Baggage store if needed. Central location. Easy walk to station and all city attractions.

We loved the location of the hotel right near the River Ouse. Very friendly welcoming front desk staff who also offered us complimentary breakfast as our room wasn’t ready on our arrival. I would definitely stay with you again.

Overall a pleasant stay. The room was clean and spacious. The check-in experience could have been better. When the self-check-in told me to see a member of staff, they staff member almost seemed perturbed by having to assist me. Better training and setting of expectations could alleviate this issue.

Bar menu was limiting if staying for several nights.Don't think the restaurant was open in the evenings only for breakfast, which was lovely, couldn't fault that. Rooms clean with adequate tea and coffee. Staff were friendly but bar was often unattended and had to wait until someone finally appeared.
