The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great rooftop bar and good breakfast in the restaurant. It’s a beautiful property in a booming neighborhood. Walkable to lots of places of interest. We had a wonderful 5 day stay!

So much potential. The staff are great and the property is beautiful. Couple of things are off for a Hyatt. Wash cloths. We had only one. I read another similar review. AC is not cold enough for a DC summer. But there is only a duvet. Need a sheet.It can get too hot. Lowest temp is 66. Restaurant and bar are beautiful but close at 10 even on the weekend because it’s not inviting from the street. Need better options at front desk for snacks. Also let ppl know about neighborhood discounts when they check in. It’s a good location tell them about what’s around there.
Property was well maintained
I loved the room , the lobby and the rooftop bar. The service was great and coffee and pastries in the libby each morning was nice. I did not like having a man checking id’s for the rooftop bar by the elevators on the lobby level before you could get in the elevator .
The property was beautiful, the rooms spacious and comfortable, the location fantastic, and the staff very friendly and professional. Highly recommended!
Liked the fact that this property was walking distance to the metro station. Spent the majority of our time at the museum, and it was an easy route from hotel to the metro.
The front desk staff was very accommodating and friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The room was also very nice and clean.
The hotel met and exceeded our expectations. From the decorations to the staff, everything made us feel welcomed. Joseph, at the front desk, was exceptional. Joseph was so friendly and helpful, it made us feel like we were the only guest at the hotel. I would definitely stay at the Thompson Washington D.C. again!
Rooms lacked adequate drawer space for two. Also very poor bathroom ventilation.
