Our stay was wonderful. The staff is very helpful and can answer any questions you have. Breakfast was wonderful. I would definitely recommend

2 blocks from the Metro and a full sized grocery store if you forgot anything. Staff was very nice and breakfast included

I really liked the hotel, I was in town for a convention, it is about 1.5 miles from the Convention Center up New York Avenue. It's not necessarily ideal for those that want to tour around the monuments and museums as it is outside of normal walking distance and they charge for parking. I was on business so I just called cabs to and from, but that can get expensive too.

This hotel worked out well for my family of 4. My kids are 9 and 11 and enjoyed having their own beds (1 on queen and other on sofa bed). This was the 1st trip to D.C. for my kids and taking a taxi was very convenient - ride to Capitol Hill was between 5-10 mins and cost about $11; you also have the option of taking the Metro which is only 2 blocks away. The complimentary breakfast worked out very well for us by saving time in the morning and easing the confusion of finding someplace to eat so we could get to museums, etc. when they opened. Breakfast covered all the bases: great coffee, real eggs, waffles/pancakes, fruit, juices, cereal, oatmeal, and a daily selection of sausage or corned beef hash prepared by a friendly "cook" every morning.

The hotel is nice. Its a few blocks from the metro stop.. When we called for room service, the person who answered says "yeah and was a dry non pleasant personality. Everything else was fine.

Everything was wonderful with our stay. Staff was very nice and helpful. Only complaint was very hard pillows so you may want to take your own. There was alot of construction in the area so I would suggest a higher floor. Vertical convenient to metro station.

We stayed for 5 nights so we became very familiar with the hotel and the area. It's only two blocks from the NoMa-Gallaudet metro stop and 10 minutes to the Mall so it's very convenient if you want to sightsee. The immediate area is full of fast food restaurants and a nice supermarket just a block away. It's an up-and-coming area that felt very safe and relatively clean. The hotel is new and our room was clean and very comfortable. The comfy couch was a nice touch to relax on after a day of wandering around the city. Front desk staff was helpful and very kind, A+ to them. The only bad thing I can say about the rooms is that the A/C's compressor is in the room and very noisy. We had to turn it off during the night to sleep. The only complaint was the breakfast. It doesn't matter what time you go in, half of the serving dishes are empty and never get refilled. One day there were no plates, I had to ask before they brought out a stack. Another day there were no utensils, I had to ask and they brought out piles of them. The kitchen staff were all polite and kind and kept the tables pretty well bused, but it was like they didn't pay much attention to the food area. Overall it was a good deal and I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting DC.

The hotel bedroom was nice and the service as expected but we were surprised that Hyatt chooses such an environment to set up an hotel. No attractions around except few basic fast foods and a lot of building constructions. The swimming pool was very small and opened only end of afternoon.

Will definitely stay here again..staff very friendly..room cozy and clean with a decent view of the city..parking $44 (taken from incidental hold on account)..close to Verizon Center and White House..breakfast was a pleasant surprise as well..only complaint was pool size..super small

All gold stars. Only "negative" was it was all of three blocks from the Metro on a 100 degree day. It was near perfect.

We arrived late in night to be told our room was unavailable. We were put in a taxi to another hotel and expected to return for the last 4 days of our trip. We declined to return to the hotel.

Nice hotel in close proximity to the Metro station. Numerous dining options within 2 blocks. The front desk staff isn't overly friendly and seem bothered when you ask questions. The breakfast is big and full of numerous items, but seating is limited. The pool is too small for this size of hotel and is overcrowded most evenings. Lots of construction going on in the area, so it can be noisy early in the morning. The rooms are good sized and the sleeper sofa is a nice addition.

Great if you are visiting DC. It's very close to the Metro station that takes you anywhere. However i do not recomend this hotel if you have a car or rental car. Even for a couple of minutes they charge the whole day fare or overnight fare that is almost $50 per night. eveything else was fine. Great breakfast buffet.

The money that you pay for this hotel is to much, the hotel doesn't looks clean, the breakfast is terrible and the parking to way expensive.

The hotel is located in the middle of the city. That makes it accessible to all the attractions. It is also located near public transportation.

A very clean hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast however they charged me 2 times and I'm still waiting on my refund

Staff very unfriendly No one give a good morning They turn when see people's The bed are very uncomfortable Pillow of marble Breakfast is a joke

Arrived at night to unfamiliar location in DC. Initially thought location was poor, hotel jammed between very busy roads. In daylight and with further exploration, saw that Hyatt is probably ahead of the curve, in that area is clearly being redeveloped. Pluses are that it is close to Metro and bus lines. The rooms are modern, clean, comfortable and the staff was very responsive. Free wifi, free gym and free breakfast are also strong enticements.

The hotel was affordable new and modern. Kind of gives you a 5 star feel for a 3 star budget. Nice

The hotel is located out of the main areas of DC which makes finding a cab next to impossible. Once I discovered this I went to the Front Desk to ask for the staff to have a cab for me on 2 separate occasions. Both times they said, no problem.....it was no problem for them as when I arrived for the cabs ......there were no cabs!!! Plus arriving one night at 9:20 on the wrong side of building....which I knew was not accessible after 9....but I saw 2 front desk clerks who saw me and gestured to walk around. WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTE AGAIN!
