This stay was not consistent with previous stays with Hyatt. Issues we encountered: -Very little (no?) parking, $65 a night for valet -AC only worked for awhile and then had to be manually switched off and back on to work. Had maintence sent up and they said we would have to keep opening the panel every couple of hours and to that to have air. - No air or fan in bathroom, very hot -No air in halls of hotel - When we opened the pull out bed, it had used, balled up sheets and blankets from the previous guest -VERY noisy with traffic outside, sirens were pretty constant all day and night -In the shower, your choices are either no water pressure (like a trickle) with a decent temperature or good pressure at scalding hot temps -Bathroom had a heavy glass door that slammed shut loudly when you didn’t close it slowly by hand -Room phone did not work, just static - There is no restaurant like advertised. There is a list of a few items and the person working the front desk has to leave their post to actually go cook the food. -The one positive was the young man working the front desk who did everything from check people in to cook pizzas. I felt bad for him, as this place needs more than he can do. Breakfast was okay. Neighborhood was so so.

Overall the hotel is good. 5 minutes walk to train station and a lot of different stores and food places to eat. Room was good, service was good. It was nice that there was a breakfast downstairs, just not enough sitting area to enjoy it. Would definitely come back if I happen to come back to Washington DC again. We didnt use the parking because $65 plus tax a day was too much where as t minutes walk its half the price which we used. Great tip (download spothero app)

I liked the accessibility of the property. The staff members were very professional. The room was clean and we had a great view. As for the shower, the water pressure was low and the water was very slow to drained out of the tub. Overall, it is family friendly, and the staff members made our stay enjoyable.

Our bathroom door was broken. One of the blinds was broken. We saw roaches in the room. We had to request sheets for the pull out sofa bed…that mattress was extremely filthy. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Quick Family road trip

The bathroom was a little rundown with rusty fixtures. The staff were very nice and professional. The neighborhood is going through gentrification so look out for a few unsavory folks.

And thin so I asked for a blanket & the blanket was ripped up with several large holes. ☹️ Property was understaffed & unorganized. Got locked out b/c they thought we cancelled AFTER we already checked into our room. Made no sense. The free breakfast is why it did t score lower than a 3.

Our hotel room did not have air conditioning. There was a box fan when we walked into our room. The area of the hotel is full of homeless, which affects the experience of walking to nearby restaurants.

Frustrating Experience.

The room was worn with stains on the lamp shades, and a tear in the shower curtain. There was a strong sewage smell at night. We were lucky to be at a higher floor so it wasn't as strong. We placed towels at the bottom of our door to prevent it from entering our room. Many guests were in the hotel lobby to complain about how strong the smell was. The valet charge is listed as $65 both online and in the lobby, but it is really $76.60 after the unlisted taxes and fees. We are a family of 5 so we needed the sofa bed, but no bedding was provided. We called to the front desk and they told us to come down and get it ourselves. After waiting in line, they checked and were out of blankets and pillows and told us to come back later. We had to wait until we returned late at night to pick it up, and had to wait in a long line again. We needed to get something out of our car, and the valet had us wait for about 20-30 minutes before taking us to our car in the garage across the street. The doors were unmarked, and he left us at the car, so we had to try to find our way back to the hotel on our own through unmarked doorways.

I reserved this place for my family; Husband and 4 kids. We wanted to spend a nice weekend to celebrate my husband birthday. We arrived around 11pm and we we got there, we were told they didn’t have the room we reserved. In stead they offered us 2 separate room. I was so upset because we just wanted to be together as a family. Their solution was either to accept 2 rooms or just cancel the whole reservation. I had an awful experience experience that I wish it will never happen to any other family. My kids were scared and tired. After driving almost 5 hours to get there. At the end we ended up in a tiny room sleeping basically on top of each other because we couldn’t be separated. We had small kids .
