this was by far the worst experience i have ever had staying in a hotel. Staff was unorganized. Valet only had one person working which we had to chase him around to get our vehicle when we arrived. The lobby was discombobulated with many people no one knew what was going on or what they were doing. I will never stay here again.

Property has gotten a bit run down since the last time we stayed there a few years ago. Couch in room was dirty. Walls dirty. Blinds had food on them. No fan in bathroom. Construction work outside at 5:30am! Homeless people. A bit disapointing since we have family in DC and used to recommend this hotel for people to stay there.

Staff was very personable on arrival and departure and for any of our requests during our stay (ie. extra towels as we were four to the room and a quick plumbing repair in early am hours. The engineer was there in less than five minutes and finished with changing a plumbing connection in less than fifteen. Hotel was very quiet, beds were comfortable. Slept well as though we were the only ones in residence. Big surprise in morning when we found the breakfast and lounge area full with happy touring families and groups like ourselves. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and well-prepared. Coffee was a bit strong, but tea and juices made up for that. Service staff in this area was also very friendly. A total good experience. Thank you Hyatt Place.

Arrived almost 7 pm traveling all day to arrive at the hotel to be informed our room wasn’t ready. We waiting another 30 minutes for the room to be ready. Also no parking. You can do valet parking for $55 per night. Also the rug in the room has stains.

Not such a good stay
I selected this hotel because usually hyatts are of the best quality, but this stay was kinda bad, the first room we had was ok, seemed slightly dirty but we aren’t boujee so we over looked it, we realized that the room was getting hot and called the front desk the first night, nobody ever came, we called the next day and someone came and went inside the wall and said “give it a few” next thing we know the room is 90 degrees. The front desk switches our room but they mistakenly give us a room with someone already in it, weird, we finally get put in a room and the room seemed smaller and a little dirtier and a smaller bathroom. We probably will not book here again

Property is well taking care of. Metro station is within walking distance without being a problem. No trash or homelessness notice. Couple of properties with chain linked fence and covered with shake cloth. Overall I will consider this property and surroundings safe.
