Convenient to Union Station and Red line, which is why I picked it. There are some decent amenities in the area, like a CVS, Starbucks and Harris Teeter. It's a short walk to bars and restaurants. The staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay and would return to this hotel again.

An overall good experience, but I found the mattress to be very hard and the air conditioner to be erratic.

Extremely loud slamming doors, not the fault of inconsiderate guests but poor design, made it impossible to sleep soundly. Otherwise, we would have enjoyed our stay.

Leaving us only two paper cups per room was not adequate. Make it four! The bed creaked when we shifted weight. Skimpy on leaving us Kleenex as well, which sucks when you have an allergy. Coffee maker was great! . The AC ran all night, couldn't shut it off. Restaurant was adequate, not superb. Nice view.

Great location, clean new facility--great market on the corner and coffee across the street. Easy jog to the mall--some blocks transitional but never felt unsafe.

The hotel was super clean and the outdoor dining patio a wonderful amenity. However, the beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. We had booked & paid for 4 nights but took the loss and only stayed three because the beds were so uncomfortable.

First, I have to say I didn't realize I was not staying in the Hilton Garden Inn in the center of DC. I did not realize there were more than one DC Hilton Gardens. So, it was very disappointing to realize how far away the hotel was to the White House etc. It is on the subway system so we used that mode of transportation to get around but that took getting used to with regards to which type of M ticket to buy etc. We spent little time at the hotel. It was nice to come back to the indoor pool and spa albeit very small. The whirlpool jets did not really work but it was hot and needed after walking DC all day. The beds in the room were supposed to be this special set your own firmness type of bed but the bed was totally hard as a rock with no bounce or give. I have never hated a mattress more. They also did not put a lot of supplies in the rooms. We had 2 adults and 2 teens staying in the room but only got 2 paper cups and 3 towels. We also ran out of toilet paper and had to call down for more. We ate at the hotel's buffet breakfast once. For $14.95 the breakfast was a rip off of processed scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and fried hash browns. There was an omlet station too though. I thought the price and quality were off on the breakfast. We did not eat any other meals in the restaurant. There is a nice market right next door to the hotel with nice fresh fruits, vegetables, and more. There is a fridge and mini microwave in the room so that was nice to be able to put that food in there. The desk staff was very nice. If I was traveling to DC again I would pay more to stay closer to the center of things.

IT WAS EVERYTHING AND MORE I'D RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE.

We always enjoy Hilton's Garden Inns and this one is no exception. The room we had (1112) was incredibly spacious and extremely quiet. It faces the internal courtyard and, although on the wall opposite the elevator, we had absolutely no elevator noise. Staff was very pleasant and got me some real coffee cups to use in the room. That's the only gripe I have: There are no coffee mugs and no water glasses. Just paper cups, which diminish the pleasure of the morning coffee from the Keurig. But, overall a very nice experience.

The rooms were clean but the beds were absolutely awful. That were hard and creaked every time you moved. I called before booking to ask for some help with the website and the the person who answered the phone was no helped. I called again after booking to ask where to park and the receptionist provided me with a sarcastic, unhelpful answer. Lastly, my card was charged 45 dollars for late check out. I was at the desk 1 minute after the noon check out... nice hotel but I will not be returning

This is a lovely hotel very close to the Gallaudet metro stop. There is also a Harris Teeter (upscale grocery store) right next door. My room was very clean and the decor was nice and modern. This is my go-to hotel when I visit DC. I highly recommend it.

We arrived early and was welcomed with open arms. They were able to check us and provided great information about the parking arrangement (dos/ don'ts/recommendations). The room was clean, bed was comfort adjustable, and size of the room was adequate. Guest services went above and beyond to ensure all needs were met.

Really enjoyed the bed, firm and comfortable. Got a great night's rest which doesn't always happen when I travel.

I enjoyed my stay. The stuff were extremely nice to me & the location was very convenient. The fact that the stuff wish me a happy birthday was a bouns. I sleep wonderful & the view frm my room was nice! I want to go back for another stay soon!

It was a good deal for a quick trip into the city.

The room is very big and comfortable. The location is very good.To the Capitol Hill by walking only need 9 minutes.

Hotel was comfortable but desk staff was a little weak. They failed to order a cab for us as requested so we had to get one on the fly. Due to construction on the street this took a little bit of time. They did get our cab order for the return to the airport but ordered a limo instead. So it was pricey. They misdirected us to a local bar/restaurant and it was much farther away than they indicated. They were misinformed about the opening and closing times of their own restaurant and the times on the in room material were also wrong.

I took a quick trip with a few friends. Didn't get to spend much time in the hotel, but it was obviously a good deal for the price. It was also a convenient walk from the metro station.

Very nice room. Close to all the major attractions in Washington. Will stay here again.

Farther away from attractions than the website leads you to believe Reality is it is about 40 minutes to the mall walking distance Parking is way too expensive $30 per day valet only which forces you to tip each time you want to get access to your car My preference is to have inc in Hotel price
