everything was good, we have no complaints or issues

Liked the location and closeness to baseball field. Didn’t like having bed bugs and being bit.

While situated next to the ballpark, the view of it from the roof deck is obstructed by the multi-level parking garage. When you look at pictures provided by the hotel, they give the illusion the field is directly in front of you and fully viewable. You can see about half of it, still it’s a great rooftop deck. One day we forgot to tip Housekeeping and when we got back to the hotel room there wasn’t a piece of toilet paper to be found. We inquired about it/asked for some to be delivered it took at least two hours/several calls. I think it might be code to the other staff - cheapos/non-tippers, treat accordingly. Not cool. They last night we were there the hotel had no water - as in zip! When we checked out the next morning, still no water. Nill mention from the front desk, including an apology, discount or even an offer of bottled water to brush our teeth (of course a shower wasn’t happening and we couldn’t even flush the toilet). With the meh and bad mentioned, the hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to the metro and has several restaurants around it. The staff is fairly nice, the rooms are updated and the beds are comfortable. The room is long but a bit cramped since every inch is occupied with the necessary furniture. The bathroom is generous sized. The mini fridge is extremely helpful. Quick jist is, if you’re looking for a place to sleep for the night, no more no less, this will be it.

Liked the proximity to ball park. However they overbooked and we had to switch rooms mid stay. Four people had to share a king and a single cot.

Location is good and breakfast is good with many good restaurants nearby

The property is located in the newly re-developed Navy Yard area with east access to the metro and surrounded by decent dining options as well. The property was in good condition.

Staff was awesome and helpful. Rooms were a bit small not a lot of space to walk around bed and tv stand area. Liked that the hotel was eco-friendly. The only problem was outside the hotels control, because it is a developing area there was construction right next door and loud next to our room on the northwest side of the hotel other then that pretty good experience.

Right next to Nationals Park! Lots of restaurants near by.

Hotel is in a convenient location to Metro, clean, and nice. Will definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel close to ballpark!! Poor arrival instructions with a lot of construction going on and limited parking. Breakfast and coffee wasn’t ready at 6am as advertised.

Pleasant friendly hotel staff. Room was a bit too cold for my comfort level but ok for most people. Damage deposit was a hidden cost. Food was great. Everything was located close and convenient. Great overall experience.

The complimentary breakfast was not acceptable and a disappointment. The staff did not keep the sliced fruit bowl stocked. There were no bananas or oranges in the whole fruit bowl, just a few red apples that looked old.. There was no water!!!!!!!. The hotel staff was excellent and the room was so nice, we were very surprised at the quality of the breakfast.

My wife and I just went for the night. It was just over $100 for a nights stay and don’t expect much but it really was great. Very clean, rooms were much nicer than expected, and the staff was very helpful and nice. We’d definitely go back to stay!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. An employee was vacuuming out the hallways at 9:45PM on night which we found odd but we were still awake. We were winding down getting ready for bed though. If you want to watch TV at all (we do to go to sleep) the satellite doesn’t work well and it breaks up. Those were my only pet peeves but are easily fixable and we’d probably stay here again. The Washington Nationals stadium you can see from the hotel and is literally 50 steps (walking yes) away. So, if you love baseball this hotel will be the perfect spot to be! They have a rooftop area open for baseball season where you could watch the game from too.

There was no indication when researching hotels in the D.C. area that there was lots of construction surrounding this hotel. Despite the construction and the poor weather conditions, we were pleasantly surprised with the staff's efforts to made our visit to Washington DC visit a great experience.

Overall good. Parking is not available at a reasonable cost.

I had a great stay at Hampton Inn Navy Yard. Convenient location.

Stayed 1 night while attending a Nationals game. The location can not be beat! Parking was extremely exciting expensive and took 30 minutes for car to be returned from valet (valet parking only option). I felt the 2 small elevators were not convenient for the number of guests in the hotel. Tried taking elevator to our room once (12th floor) only to have it stop on many floors going up, get to 11th floor and then head back down, even though we had selected 12. Power went out in building morning of our stay for many hours. We were on 12th floor, tried going down stairs and ended up outside in back of building instead of lobby. Ended up going back up stairs and waited for 1 working elevator to get to lobby. We were informed we had to take stairs to basement and then take a different set up stairs to 1st floor lobby - no signs were in stairwell of this. Staff made it seem like we should have known this and it was our fault that we ended up outside building in construction area.

Friendly and helpful staff. The free breakfast was good and guest were offered/provided cold bottle d water. after check in and upon request.
