New Hotel Collection Harbourside

worst part of the experience was the check in, or to be more precise finding where to check in there is nothing to indicate what building is the lobby and it's not connected to the building with the rooms. so I spent like an hour trying to find the lobby. once I finally did get inside and talked to the staff things went smoothly after that. the only thing I saw that was anything of a sign you could only read if you where standing right next to the door. I need something I can spot as I'm driving so i don't pass the building several times, thinking it's something else as I'm looking for a sign. also would of been nice to have blackout curtains on the windows even though it did get mostly dark at night. and would of also been nice to have some rugs under the table the hardwood looks nice but was dam cold to try to stand on. aside from that though it was a really nice room, far bigger and better equipped than I would of expected for the price. so all in all it was a good deal even with the problems I still think it's worth going back.

This hotel would have been a 5 stars if the slides and lazy river were open to us. After booking the stay and prior to arrival, I told my kins about the ammenities and they were super excited. The slides were the only reason we selected the hotel to begin with. We drove over two hours with the kids talking about their plans to enjoy the slides, lazy river and their weekend getaway. We found out the slides and lazy river were closed at check-in due to maintenance. We understand it has to be maintained, but had we known that it would be closed for our entire stay, we would have chosen elsewhere. Needless to say my children were extremely dissapointed, bored and ready to leave that same night. Also the wifi in the room did not work. We were unable to watch netflix and hulu without the constant buffering.

The flooring had gaps in it and was quite dirty upon arrival. The bed was like laying on springs alone. Tried dishwasher 2x on a load of already rinsed off dishes all were dirty still after "clean". Ended up handwashing dishes for the week. The staff was awesome. Very friendly and helpful! Maintenance man was very helpful and timely!

Great location was the only positive. My room was not clean....hair in the tub, trash on the floor. They give you a coffee maker but nothing to make it. We got one roll of TP to last a family of 3 4 days. When I called for more and trash bags, I only got the TP. Nobody asked how our stay was during checkout but just took our keys and walked away. Seriously disappointing.

We loved our stay at harborside, plenty of space in our condo. My son loves the water park. We got free admission to water park included in our hotel stay. 1 block away from the beach. Perfect location.

Property was clean. I stayed 6nights and no one from the hotel didn’t even ask if I need new tallows. The lady in the checkin office has attitude. She asked me to sign a paper at the checking with some $480 on it where after I had asked what is that amount for, she replied don’t worry its not for you.... well its not for me but you’re asking me to agree....

I arrived late and luckily i called to adivse the proporty because their office closes at 10pm. My information packet and key were in a mailbox. There was no information about where my room was only a number. My room was found but it is a large property and could hvae taken me much longer. I also do no have children and my neighbors were very noisy very early everyday. Guest should aslo know this is a time share property you will be asked daily if you want to par take in seminars to buy into the Harborside property. Over all it was a great experience with small water park, restaurants, beach and much more. I will stay here again.

Wasn't able to take advantage of water park due to weather. Property wouldn't credit any resort fees for trip. Bed was hard also.

It’s a nice experience we discovered very nice places the only thing we didn’t like is the weather

Stay did not start off well. Did t realize that they office closes at 10pm and when we arrived late, I had no idea how to get our room. There happened to be a mailbox that they put door keys and paperwork in for late check in’s. Parking was horrible, parking garage was a joke and we got stuck in with a dead end. Had to do a 10 point turn to try and get out of it. Questioned the front desk 5 times on where we could park and was told where we were was ok...i then came out to find our vehicle being towed! Management owned up and reimbursed me and the party I was with, but took 1/2 our day dealing with it all. Be advised that there is absolutely no housekeeping offered, unless you pay for it. Closet outside our room door had an old cooler in it, when the door was opened it smelled like a dead body or something in there! A lot of potential here, but they need to work on a lot to make his place better.

According to orbitz descriptions, the resort fees was for the use of the pool and water park. However, when we got there, they collected the resort fee but told us that we could only use the pool/water park before 10am and after 6pm. We had to buy a wrist band if we wanted to use it between 10am-6pm. That was very misleading.

We had a nice stay and the resort is very clean and in a very convenient location. The only complaint is that we were asked to leave the pool because we didn’t buy a wristband. We were allowed to use the tiki bar adjacent to the pool but not allowed to sit poolside or use the pool. There is also an on-site water park that I would expect to pay a little extra to use but not a pool. Overall the experience was positive and the place is nice, it just seems ridiculous to have to buy a wristband to sit poolside.

Okay, but left a lot to be desired. See list of suggested improvements.
