At check in around11pm we were informed five restaurants were closed. The kids club never reopened after the pandemic. No tips or map was offered. The elevators were under maintenance. This is a disappointment and inconvenience .Our daughter was asleep in our stroller. Had to carry her in order to bring stroller down the steps in the foyer. We arrived to our room. We were tired from commute. We noticed the entrance into the was soaked. We were told the front desk.Informed no other rooms were available to switch. Feel customer service was poor. Day 2 We asked for a room change. The hall in front was soaked. It was dangerous for our children to breathe. At front desk Autumn associate informed maintenance would go to check the room .Changing the room would be the last resort. That wasn’t good customer service. Maintenance didn’t fix the issue. I had to ask a third time to switch our room. During the weekend all outdoor and indoor garbages were overflowing with garbage. When our room was cleaned. They stripped the sheets. House keeper accidentally obtained our daughters baby doll when stripped sheets. I asked to house keepers to help contact laundry room. Maybe it would show up. Refused to help or refer me to laundry room. During check out I asked the front desk again. Which they couldn’t locate the baby doll. Informed to call security next day. Beautiful location

Great mattress in a small, cramped noisy room with annoying noise from both adjacent rooms and very noisy HVAC.

As a family of four with two boys ages 10 & 13, the Don Cesar was a perfect vacation stay. The hotel is very Covid safe. Our boys enjoyed the complimentary paddle boarding in the mornings. The staff is fitting of a top resort.

Property was a bit run down, it is nearly a hundred years old but due for a renovation. They did have a few of the restaurants closed for renovations and were tearing the pool out the day we left to re-do. Great beach without many locals, St Pete in general could use a bit better dining.

even with all the renovations and pandemic we felt safe and staff was following all safety guidelines.

Love "The Don". It is known as the Pink Palace. The beach is lovely, the staff friendly. Always a good stay. They are updating everything and it is getting even BETTER

Rooms and bathrooms were very tiny and difficult to maneuver. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was due to location and restaurant choices (but their main restaurant was closed down).

The included water sports and beach chairs. Did not like cabanas had to be purchased.

The history behind the property was interesting. The staff - from Registration to house cleaning - were all extremely helpful. My stay was exceptional from start to finish!
