Hotel Zamora is a very nice place to stay. Comfortable, clean, and the staff that we met were very helpful.
The hotel was amazing, staff was great, and all the complimentary amenities were an unexpected plus! The only problem we had was we couldn't get the AC to work our last night there. But we all had a great time overall, planning our next trip already!
Beautiful hotel, nice staff, but the bed was rock hard, the pillows were thin and flat. We both woke up stiff and sore. But the most disappointing was the noise level in the room, we heard not only every car that drove by, but also everything happening in the room next to ours and everything in the hall. It’s as if all the walls were hollow, and zero insulation was used when they built the place. I woke up to two police sirens, a motorcycle, laughter in the room next to us and the sound of someone dropping a utensil on the floor. We both woke up exhausted and needed to change our plans the following day, needing a nap to recharge. We had to check out after just one night opting for a spare bedroom at a family members condo.
This is my second time staying at Zamora and the experience is very good one more. The rooms are new, maintenance is impecable and the beach is one short block away. What else can one expect?
Pool wasn’t to my liking. Restaurant had many menus online. Other than that loved it!!!
Stayed for one night in Zamora hotel, when I left my card was charged for almost $800 and some fees, taxes and etc.
Great location and the rooms were great. We didn't have good luck with our food there late one night. We had a very dried out Cuban sandwich. Our only complaint. Lovely place really. ( With not many good dining options on the beach I thought the Zamora would be a cut above.)
The property was beautiful. The staff was friendly nice down to earth. I have nothing negative to say. I enjoyed myself so much after check out we hung out at the pool bar for 6 more hours........ awesome place.
Great service and excellent staff. The food at the restaurant was great 👍.
I loved the international feel of the hotel. I saw very few people who looked (or sounded) like me. I saw staff interacting with a number of different people and they could be seen being helpful and polite and rendering great customer service. The facilities were beautiful and combined old world comfort and decor with modern amenities. I definitely look forward to staying there again!
The valet crew was awesome and FAST! Super friendly. The rest of the hotel staff left a lot to be desired. They didn't disclose that they don't clean your room or give towels and coffee every day. When I called to request them, I waited for over an hour, called again and finally got them. It would have been fine had they told us that we would need to request those items. It was just too bad we had to find out late at night after we were out of the hotel all day.
The shower was Luke warm. Ran out of toilet paper at 9am told the front desk left for the day a 8 hours later still no toilet paper. Could use new carpet in our room. An the a/c only goes down to 70.
The look of the hotel is a 4 star but the service is a 2.There is no attention to detail. When we arrived we were given a cart for our luggage but we had to bring it up ourselves. You think with a 4 star hotel they would have better service. There was no turn down service, often the housekeeping forgot towels, our sheets were inside out and they throw away our magazines. It seems all the staff are in there 20’s and not very well trained in customer service. Half the staff did not wear uniforms and if they did they were wrinkled and unkept. I would recommend that management step in a hire more professional staff that have experience in hotel management and have trainings on customer service. On our first night we asked for extra hangers we were told there was no one around to give them to us but they would send they next morning. That never happened. I also asked for an extra blanket, when the housekeeping staff showed up she had the wrong blanket and started yelling “ god dammit” that’s not what they told me” and was swearing under her breath. The bathrooms in the common areas were not checked often and didn’t have paper towels or toilet paper at times. We travel a lot and I have to say this was one of the worst customer service we experienced in a 4 start hotel. I felt like it was motel quality put paying for 5 star hotel. We ended up going to the Don Caesar a few times to eat and the costumer service-was superb. We will definitely be staying there at our next v
Pros: Gulf views and proximity (just walk across the street). In house dining and bars. Pool, bikes, kayaks. Valet parking Boutique style. Would recommend. Cons: Limited dinner menu at their upscsle Castile restaurant. Room needed some touchup maintenance i.e.from routine wear
MISLEADING ADVERTISING. On their website it lists many amenities like fitness classes etc, but there isn’t a schedule in the room or online?? Perhaps you hVe to sit with the concierge to learn about said amenities. .. but in today’s world if you’re in town for a conference who has time for that? Staff was fantastic. Except one bartender who was a little rude when we came in for a late dinner close to close. She didn’t answer our food questions but instead assumed that was our order and moved on. Front desk staff was great.
The hotel was beautiful. The room was amazing. The rooftop bar was wonderful.
