Very friendly staff all over the resort. Food at resort extremely pricey. Suite was clean and well maintained. Kids had plenty to do. Just wish the baby pool had a gate or something around it as we have a very busy 17 month old who is always ready to run and the large pool was right next to it. Over all a great experience and would definitely recommend!

The hotels location was very central to many other things in walking distance. The amenities at the hotel were very nice as well. We ran into a few problems with the wait staff especially at the outdoor bar area. One day we sat for 15 minutes at a table and no one asked us if we were interested in ordering anything. However they did come to the table to change out the condiments so they knew we were there. The service was also slow at one of the restaurants. I would expect we would return but would hope that the servicing issues would be resolved

We have stayed at the Tradewinds resort several times now and can say that the Staff are always friendly and willing to help. I also notice that somebody is always cleaning to help keep the resort appearance up. I would recommend to anybody!!!

The biggest thing that stood out for us during our 3-night/4-day stay was the friendliness of the staff. With almost no exception, if you ever made eye contact with anyone - groundskeeper, maintenance, waiter/waitress, etc. - you were greeted with a sincere, friendly smile and "hello". VERY pleasant people. The facility is neat and well-maintained. The gardens and general grounds-keeping was beautiful. The food at the five restaurants that we ate at was excellent and the wait staff was friendly. I gave a rating of 5 for the individual items, but my overall rating of 4 was simply because we were approached three times by someone telling us about their time-share (or whatever they call it) service. We were "ambushed" one time on our way to breakfast and had to interrupt the lady to tell them we were going to eat - after we had already told her we were on our way to breakfast. We didn't appreciate their marketing tactics in that regard, but again, our stay was wonderful.

I guess we r spoiled by the quality of going to Mexico. This resort absolutely charged us for anything they could. $45 a day resort fee, we were there for days and with all the other fees we paid another $300. We did a red eye in with two small children and they didn't guarantee check in until 4 o'clock. We were exhausted and just needed a place to rest and sleep. They just weren't willing to work with us and we slept in the lobby for several hours. Our room was not very clean. The pullout couch had crumbs and trash under the mattress. We called to have it cleaned, but no one ever showed up. Our third day we did not receive housekeeping at all? The second day after she had cleaned we went and got a vacuum, that did not work and just broom swept the room. Wont be back. The value just wasn't there. Will take the family to Mexico next time.

It was a wonderful place and I would definitely go back.

I came to this hotel on a business trip for 1 night. I was very happy with the location as it is right on the beach. We were given access to the beach cabanas and it's really nice that once you sit down someone comes to help give you a cushion and provide some shade if needed. The area was very clean and well kept. The room was huge! Didn't expect to have a separate 'bedroom' and then a 'living room' type area. They even had a stove and sink in the 'kitchen' area. We wound up with a beach view which was great! The bed was super comfortable and the room overall very clean. There is a huge water slide on the beach that you can use. It was a bit chilly but I decided to do it anyway! It was so much fun! It's pretty high up and you fly down. Overall I enjoyed my short stay and would come back down if i'm in the area.

The Tradewinds is a resort I would definitely stay again with the kids or just with my husband. There was a lot to do for the kids and also very relaxing.

expensive but lots to do. Small room without kitchen. Beautiful beach with comfortable loungers. Nice restaurants

The staff were very helpful and friendly from the time we arrived until the time we left. I have stayed here twice before and have never been disappointed. I hated to leave and the time spent with my family was wonderful. I will stay here again in the near future..

Had a wonderful time staying here for a wedding that was on the property. Plenty of things for the kids to do and the adults loved the cabanas on the beach. Would definitely consider returning if we were in the area again.

Beautiful white sand beach. Awesome onsite activities for all ages and many restaurants and bars to choose from.

My wife and I got married at the TradeWinds Island Grand seven years ago, and we've now been back three times since. Great hotel for couples or families. And the staff is the best, especially the bartenders at Salty's Tiki Bar!!!

Everything was awesome, except parking. There is not enough parking for the amount of people who stay there. You literally had to circle the parking lot for over 5 to 10 minutes in order to fine a parking spot. I would not go back based on parking.

Had a great time. the staff was wonderful, and loved the room. The resort was perfect for a family vacation.

The staff was excellent at assisting both myself and the other traveler. The helped use the business center for a large print job and assisted us in many other needs as well. We had to catch an early flight and they made sure we had breakfast to go. The hotel is lacking some amenities but the staff is excellent.

Great relaxing trip for two sisters who haven't had much time together- enjoyed the room, food, beach, pool, and location. Well-maintained and modern.

nice hotel but old. rooms are clean. Too expensive for hotel type, but beach area is very nice with cabanas.

Facilities were clean, but had problems accessing the wireless internet. There is a nice restaurant inside but it is SOOOO expensive. The beach was nice and so were the pools. We would have preferred an adults only hotel but overall had a good experience.

I loved the beach. It is so nice and quiet. Perfect place for a getaway!
