Almost Great

Loved the house and location. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Issues with getting shower working but did communicate with company. It was 10 pm and a very long day but got it figured out after back and forth communication. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Comfy beds and pillows!

Cozy House in Great Location

This house is in a great location that is an easy walk to Historic Downtown St. Augustine with tons of food and drink options. It is not very big but has everything you need. Loved having coffee in the mornings on the screened in front porch.

Rest and Relaxation

After a week at Disney with our children and grandchildren, we enjoyed a very restful time in St. Augustine, where our older daughter resides and works. The location of this rental was perfect. We were able to walk to the downtown area and not worry about parking our car. We enjoyed one-on-one time with our daughter, which doesn’t happen often, since we live in Ohio. Thank you for a very clean and well-stocked rental. The washer/dryer unit was definitely a plus! We would definitely enjoy a return visit!

New Years Stay

We rented this property for my Mom’s out of town 80th birthday celebration. The Happy Bungalow was welcoming, comfortable and walkable to downtown. The kitchen was well stocked, but missing the basics for cooking - olive oil, cooking spray, salt and pepper. I messaged the team and they delivered these the next morning. There is only one full bathroom that has an old, tiny vanity without counter top space or drawers for storage. Great towels! The bedrooms didn’t have any mirrors or dresser top space for make up or hair tools as a back up for the tiny vanity. Not optimal for two couples sharing the bathroom. There was ample drawer space in one closet - limited hanging space and ample closet space and a dresser in the other bedroom. The hugest drawback is that the property is next door to the Village Inn lighted parking lot. There were no blackout shades or curtains on the bedroom windows so the bright parking lights shone through the blinds - bring an eye mask to sleep. The mattress in one bedroom was firm and comfortable, the other room had a memory foam type mattress topper. The team was very responsive. The check in process was easy, although it would have been great to get address and property access information a full 24 -48 hours ahead of time versus on the day of for travel planning. It was nice to have the coffee grounds starter packet provided. There could have been a another two rolls of toilet paper and another roll of paper towels provided for our stay. Thank you!

We were HAPPY at The Happy Bungalow

The bungalow was light and airy and very comfortable. The decor was lovely. The location was perfect with a short walk to the downtown area. The owner was very accommodating and responsive. I would book this property again!

St. Augustine in October

Beautiful place to stay. Was perfect for 6 people. A lot of shops and Restaurants. October is the perfect time to go, it’s still warm with a touch of being cool. I would recommend the nightly Ghost Tour. Will be booking again!

Me and 3 of my lifelong friends stayed here - this place was absolutely amazing. The amenities were over and beyond, the location was great, communication with host was awesome they responded within 30 minutes, St Augustine was beautiful. We couldn’t have ask for a more perfect getaway. Thank you

Family Friendly and Perfect Location!

I stayed a long weekend here with my mother, husband, and 1.5 years old son. We loved it! It was the perfect amount of space and easy to put the baby down and still have enough space for us to relax. The two queen beds were comfortable and we brought our own travel crib which fit in one of the bedrooms nicely. The location is amazing!! It was a short walk to the historic district, playground, and the shops/restaurants north of downtown which was great for us in case we wanted to bring the baby back for a nap or for the group to come and go easily. There was even a breakfast/lunch restaurant within 100 yards which does dine-in or take-out if you want to keep things easy. The check-in process was seamless and easy to navigate. The home was very clean and well stocked with essentials for the trip. Kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook, a dishwasher, grill out back, and even laundry machines if needed. There were even beach chairs, beach towels, and kids beach toys! The only thing I would note is the house is within hearing distance of the train tracks so if you are a super light sleeper like I am I would bring a sound machine for the one train that goes by at night but no one else in my group heard it so that might just be me :) The owners provided a lot of communication so I never had any questions about the property or how to check-in/check-out. We will DEFINITELY be staying here again on our next trip to St. Augustine!

Cute, comfortable bungalow nicely equipped. Last house on the street so tended to be noisy from constant traffic and floors got very dusty if door was left open. Issue with TV was handled efficiently.

Sweet Bungalow

Love the house . It was a perfect size and very clean and adorable . Loved that we could walk to downtown very quickly and easily. Such a sweet block . The house was a little bit too close to US 1 main highway so noise level was loud especially from the bedrooms while sleeping at night. Also we recommend darkening shades / blinds in bedrooms to block out highway / restaurant / parking lot street lights . Bedrooms were to lit up at night even when you close the blinds. Also they could supply more than 2 rolls of toilet paper especially if staying for 5 days . We appreciated plenty of towels and beach towels and chairs/umbrella, etc… That was so helpful. Communication was great and check in and check out were easy. Thank you , we enjoyed St.Augustine very much.

Great Weekend

We had a great visit to Happy Bungalow. It was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could want to cook meals. Keurig and a coffee maker! Comfortable living room furniture. Close to town and everything you want for a walking vacation. The only downside, and the reason for the rating of 4/5, is there is a need for black-out or at least room-darkening curtains in the bedrooms. The parking lot lights next door make it look like daylight all night long in the bedrooms. We had a wonderful time in the adorable cottage and appreciate the efforts to make the kitchen so "usuable" as we like to cook a few meals ourselves while on vacation! Thank you!

Great stay in St Augustine!

This bungalow is absolutely adorable! Just as cute as the photos show! Super comfortable and clean! Easy walk to St George Street and convenient off street parking if you do bring a car! Had one very small concern and in was managed super fast and with kindness! Would definitely stay again! Hope I can! Thank you!
