I loved the location of the property and that it has a trolley stop. We visited 3 years ago and it had a different name " the jaybird inn" . I enjoyed the property better 3 years ago. The staff this trip was very accommodating, we originally had a room next to very loud neighbors and the staff quickly moved us to a more suitable room. Breakfast was subpar, but I'm blaming covid for that. Over all it was a decent stay.

Good location for area sights. Amenities still listed on websites, but none available, no breakfast, no newspapers, etc

Staff were nice but I also didn’t need anything so no major interaction besides checking in and checking out. Breakfast was ok. Friday morning was just muffins, scones, and cereal. Coffee was also available. Saturday they offered Bagel, fruit and yogurt. We stayed at another hotel nearby last month and their Breakfast was wayyyyy better. That one offered Prepackaged hard boiled eggs, more yogurt, water, orange juice, apple juice and you could pick what you wanted. This hotel gave you everything to go in a bag. When you get charged a “resort fee” per accommodation I just assumed it would have better options. I think they can do much better with their breakfast options. I chose my hotel on the basis that breakfast was offered so that was disappointing. If the price was right I would consider staying again but without the expectation of a healthy breakfast option.

Finding a cockroach in our bathroom was the biggest negative. Also, the room was beginning to show its age.

Honestly, for the price- this place can’t be beat. Friendly employees, great pool, clean room. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel used to be really nice back when it was the Jay Bird, now it just seems to have gone down hill. Our room was dirty with food on the walls and just poorly kept up.

This was a good property to stay. Convenient and clean. One thing I did not like was the street noise as the rooms are outside rooms. Overall good and I would recommend.

Large rooms , although mattress Lil hard , but cost and close to downtown area , am breakfast good with toast and sweets but I know my husband was looking for waffle maker and eggs, staff very courteous, pool area nice to relax , thank you !

The location is great, if you are taking the red trolley, there’s a pickup right behind the hotel. We didn’t use the pool because it was actually chilly in Florida the weekend we stayed. Breakfast was fine, nothing to write home about but our tummy’s were full before we drove home. The beds were not the most comfortable. Front desk was very nice, I requested an extra blanket for my daughter, they were grabbing it for me seconds after I hung up the phone. Overall, decent enough hotel for the price. I’d consider staying here again if we ever go back to St Augustine.

The front desk staff was FABULOUS!! They were so helpful and friendly and gave some of the best suggestions on reataurants and attractions. The hotel was clean and a great find for the proce. It is also close to all major attractions. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back!

Best hole in the wall in Saint Augustine. New rooms awesome staff and food.

The room is spacious and clean. The staff were friendly.
