The first rooms we were given reaked of bleach we booked 2 king rooms for $250 w taxes and resort fees there were no covers on all of the light fixtures and the bath room cabinets were just plyboards painted and awful, doors didnt open/close correctly to bathrooms no privacy with the bad install and placement of bathroom doors that were very very old and grimey. The second set of rooms were musty smelling had some room updates such as counters but again shodded and the nighstands were so beat up the wood chips are peeling you cant touch them wo getting splinters rooms are lacking real cleaning needs painting and so many repairs cant use the shower comfortably nor the toliet as the flush button and toliet paper handle has so much gross looking stuff its disgusting in both rooms do not recommend anyone staying here we will not be using the beds and plan on checking out at dawn. Awful conditions and a true waste of our money 500 for 2 rooms and we dont feel comtable even taking a shower or sitting on the very warn out chairs worse hotel experience

The bathroom sink was very slow to empty, probably blocked. The Shower had very poor water pressure. The bedside table was tacky. Don’t wear white socks when walking around the room, the soles turned black indicating the floors were not washed with clean water. Overall though, a scenic area and comfy bed. Breakfast was good. We got what we paid for.

We love our stay in the Villa 1565. They have a very nice staff willing to help at any time. It's located conveniently, we could meet the hole city walking from the villa. It's a safe and quiet place.

I like the charming old historic building. Rooms are renovated and love the showers. Breakfast potatoes were delicious and 15 minute walk to downtown area. Great place to stay.

This property needs quite a bit of Spray up, and definitely the walls need to be painted in each room. Decoration is one of their downfalls. The rooms were extremely cold with no pictures on the walls no color..

The room was dirty as well as the sheets I ask to change to another and in front of that door was a drug transaction going on it smelled moldy and nothing like the picture had to go to another hotel it was trashy and disgusting don’t go there.

Looks Better Online Than in Person

We stayed at Villa 1565 and were pretty disappointed. The place looks like a renovated motel with the online pictures from website, but the updates don’t hide the problems. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and while the room appeared clean at first glance, it was actually quite dirty once you looked a little closer. The pool area was run-down, with broken sun chairs that made it uninviting to use. On top of that, the trolley tour runs right through the motel’s parking lot every 30 minutes, which makes it hard to relax. The only real plus was the free breakfast, which was just average but at least convenient.

Poor care with rooms

Our stay was Ok. I went for my husband’s birthday to spend a couple of days , the room was spacious but not so well taken care of ! It didn’t look nothing like the pictures I saw when I selected the room. Lamps had mold, walls were dirty and they had rust all over the place. We were so excited about those days but our expectations went down when we saw that room. I was so sad because it was a special day for him.
