The property was very clean, and surprised me with the fridge, and microwave. Nice walk to local restaurants. You can hear noise for other room's TVs, but overall peaceful. Need recycling to be more eco-friendly

Check in was straight forward. The room was well equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and tv. The Inn is 15 min away to Sierra Tahoe.
Nice room. Clean. Good bed. No complaints. I couldn't find an ice machine but I didn't ask either. FYI, no pets. I did not have my dog on this trip but will next month so will need to find another property that allows pets.
We stay here several times a year. Great no frills hotel with dinner options near by. Always clean, staff is friendly.

Everything just went smooth. I arrived, got the keys, slept two nights in a nice clean room, returned the keys. The bathroom and shower worked well. Two little things to improve: 1) The toilet brush is missing. This happens in many hotels though, including the most high-end ones. 2) The fridge is super powerful. It's essentially a freezer -- it froze my orange to ice.
I am a priest. I had an associate with a severe medical condition who needed my presence. I asked if I could check out a day early and receive a refund. They refused. I'll not go there again.
Not much to look at but clean and nice inside. Small with thin walls...comfortable bed...would consider staying again
There was no extra toilet paper and we could not reach out to the staff in the middle of the night. Overall, the stay was good but it needs improvement.
When we arrived we noticed black flecks of dirt all over one pillowcase and I politely asked the woman at the front desk to replace the pillowcases. When the woman arrived she told us the black flecks were our fault and due to our jackets. This was impossible and I even tried to shake our jackets off to see if this was the case. The woman changed the pillowcases then left without saying another word. No apologies for the dirt, nothing but a snarky and accusatory attitude. Overall the room was cramped and dirty surfaces abounded. I do not recommend the Apex Inn. There are plenty of cleaner and more polite options in South Lake.
