Nice hotel but we are too far from the main lobby. We feel at home. My daugther enjoyed the jacuzzi.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our 6th month wedding anniversary. We wanted somewhere a bit more upscale and conveniently located near The Heavenly Gondola. We were really excited to stay at the hotel. But after so many issues with our hotel room and horrible attitude from so many staff members, we're likely not to stay at this hotel again. We booked a standard, one bedroom villa 6 weeks prior to our stay. Upon check in, we were put into a handicapped version of the room. While I understand the room is somewhat similar with respect to fireplace, jacuzzi tub, separate bedroom, it is not what we booked or paid nearly $300 a night for. It took 5 hours of back and forth with the hotel for them to tell us they could move us, then couldn't move us, then couldn't move us because they had more preferred timeshare holders who were given priority for those rooms. When we told them this was unacceptable, they told us we were welcome to check out of the hotel with no penalty. How's that for customer service?!? They gave us a $50 gift card credit which they said could be applied to the hotel restaurant...however, after eating dinner there, the restaurant told us they couldn't accept because it wasn't affiliated with the hotel. Anytime we asked for help from the bell staff to assist with luggage, they acted as if we were personally inconveniencing them. Sighs, "I guess", and "Yea, we can help - we're just super busy right now" were common replies. NOT OK, STILL UNACCEPTABLE.

Nothing special. The hotel is old. The apartments next door are in better condition.

excellent for family vacationers! super friendly staff, and in house activities for a rainy day

great hotel, great location, good amenities, good staff and service

We stayed three nights in a small but very well maintained room. Hotel grounds and pool are beautiful. Great location near to many top sights in Lake Tahoe. Only complaint was paying 29.00 per night for valet parking.

Nice hotel! Although not sure we will stay there again. Pros: -Would recommend based on location. Right on heavenly village. Walking distance to food, coffee, shops, live entertainment on the weekend. -Friendly staff Cons: -We were surprised for being a resort there is no room service. Personal preference we would have liked to order in. -For being a "suite"rooms are small & walls are thin (noisy) -Only valet parking available which adds up quickly ($29 +tip) and inconvenient when you want to access your car immediately Overall for the price paid & being a resort we will look for other hotel options in the future.

Friendly staff and quick check-in! We received a free pass to the nearby beach upon check-in, which was close to the hotel. The room was a little small, but very clean...and within walking distance of everything!

We had a king room with a great bed. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Wasn't dirty, but I don't know seemed run down? I'm never a fan of shower curtains, just get a glass door. Felt like Lots of germs.

This was the perfect place for us to stay during our week long trip to Lake Tahoe. It was very nice and comfortable, and it had every amenity you could imagine. The room was spacious and comfortable, and filled with everything we needed or could think of. It was great to have a washer/dryer in the room along with a full kitchen and dishes. And they didn't just fill it with cheap useless junk. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful with the area and attractions. We felt very comfortable here and as a low key couple we didn't feel out of place at all, but at the same time it still felt a little fancy. The place is just gorgeous and comfortable at the same time.

Great Location the best possible, great staff, great place.

Had a terrific experience at this hotel. Everything was great.

This is normally a timeshare from Marriot but the service and amenities are comparable to 5 star hotel

Couldn't beat the location as it's right next to the gondola and many shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and well thought out with our only complaint being that the gas fireplace didn't work. We called the front desk and an "engineer" was sent to check out it but basically told us it had some issues. He got going once for us but we could never get it going again during our stay. The front desk and lobby staff were wonderful.

This hotel was in a perfect location to enjoy all that South Shore has to offer. The gondola was steps away to go up to the top of Heavenly Ski resort - which has things going on no matter the time of year that you are visiting. The kitchenette came in very handy (grocery store is under a block away so you don't have to eat out for every meal), silverware, dishes, frig, coffee maker and toaster were well used. The pool was nice with plenty of lounge chairs. My only complaint was that the valet attendants were so slow, we needed to give ourselves 30 minutes to wait for the car, which seemed very excessive.

Overall very good loved all the amenities the hotel had to offer. The pool was a great place to relax and enjoy the environment. Staff was very friendly and helpful with all questions. Great place to be, and a very centralized location.

This is a wonderful hotel and a fantastic location. The staff was okay and helpful, but I have seen better. Some individuals stood out, while others brought the experience back down. Parking sucks. Worst experience I have had. What's up with the high extra parking fees? It seems like Hotels are going the route of the airlines where everything is extra. I hope this doesn't get worse as it would further reduce an overall positive experience. All in all, I would recommend this place and I would go again, but I would try to figure out a better parking arrangement.

Great location and accessible to restaurants and activities.

the room was huge and amazing, great location with nice beach access. extremely close to casinos and restaurants and the pool and hot tubs were just what we needed after a long day of hiking!
