This is our go to hotel in South Shore because of the great location in the Village and the outstanding condition of the facility. The staff at all levels are courteous and helpful and the amenities are extensive. It is just a short walk to anything you may need during your stay. Will definitely go back next time we visit.

The Marriott Timber Lodge

A beautiful Hotel nestled in the middle of Paradise. The Gondola is just a few yards away. I will be back for another adventure !

Would have to give a second thought about a return

The lodging wasn't quite what I expected. The night before was spent at the Peppermill in Reno, so maybe that made my expectation a bit high. However, the tub/shower drain was broke, and there was no fan in the bathroom. The coffee pot leaked twice during use and caused an undue mess. And, the valet took 4 hours to text me the service link, all because someone entered my phone number wrong on their end.

This hotel does not have a restaurant. They have this fire/ice which is like mongolian bbq concept. The check in process was horrendous and 10/10 would not go back again.

It’s the perfect location to enjoy all that South Lake Tahoe has to offer. You can walk to many places to eat, shop and ride the gondola. The service is incredible! We enjoyed the large pool and there are four hot tubs! The room are well equipped to heat up food in the microwave and keep snacks in the fridge. Love this hotel!!
