The property was ideal for our stay, offering a very close and safe walk to the Harvey’s amphitheater, where we attended a concert. It was spotless, seemed newly renovated, and had nicely landscaped grounds. The included beach access was excellent, and we enjoyed spending time in the common areas, as well as the coffee/beer offerings at the front desk. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

We loved the reception and patio area with the fire place. The rooms were also quite well amenated and comfortable. Moreover, they provided the vouchers for access to the private lakeside beach which otherwise costs $10. Staff was quite friendly and accommodating. Overall, we loved the place and would stay there again.

Very interactive lobby and pool area, coffee and wine options at bar/check in area, hotel had a cool vibe. Beds were very comfortable and rooms were very dark! Loved that they provided s’mores every night and yoga on the weekend!

Never have written a review prior to this stay. The air did not work. Was told they would work on it. The TV did not work. The room offered 1 coffee cup and 1 drink glass for 2 people. To be fair the room was clean and the bed was comfortable

Great hotel with surprising amenities

We enjoyed our stay at The Coachman...a little more than we expected. They have many amenities that we didn't expect: food onsite, coffee bar onsite, bar onsite, s'more kits, fire pit, free access to the Lakeside Beach. These are in addition to free parking, comfortable room and bed, swimming pool and spa. One minor consideration, if there is a concert at Caesar's, you will definitely hear it, although we managed to go to sleep during the end of the concert. We would definitely stay there again!

I booked this property based on the positive reviews and felt like perhaps I was misled. The location is about a half mile from the beach and Heavenly Village which was good but the property is divided by a busy street making sleeping with an open window very noisy. The property was cute in some areas but mostly looked tired, especially in the hallways. The pool and spa were small but there was a cute common fire pit area which offered free smores. The room itself was extremely dark and shadowy, and the floors in our room were damaged. We were on the middle floor which reminded me of apartment living as I could clearly hear all neighbors and the floors above creek. Furnishings and bedding were old and heavily used, and even the door hanger was tattered and worn. The only thing I actually enjoyed about the room was heated toilet seat which was a strange and unexpected surprise. The silver lining to our stay is that the disappointment in accommodations led us to be out of the room exploring Tahoe more.
