Nice, clean, friendly staff, lots of parking, secure and super easy checkin. Only issue is I was in a room right by the ice machine and it was noisy during the night and kept waking me up. If you stay here, ask to be placed as far away from the ice machine as possible. Have to drive for food and drink but downtown is maybe a 10 minute walk

very convient location, freshly remodeled lobby, modern decor in rooms. there was some construction dust in the hallways, but I guess that's the price of having a freshly remodeled bathroom in your hotel room
We stay here for a concert night at shoreline, very comfortable and clean hotel.also very close from the shoreline amphitheatre.

The room was fine, nothing special. But the stairwells and the hallways were kinda dirty and suffocating. There was the smell of Bengay thoughout the hallway which was great for those of us who had to walk the whole length.
Convenient location for visiting Silicon Valley and SF, close to 101, not far from Mountain View dining and shopping. Clean hotel, helpful staff. Only complain is poor soundproofing, you can hear your neighbors talking laud, especially if they have kids.

Although the staff was accommodating and the room was comfortable, I did not like that the handicap-designed bathroom and often experienced problems with the shower-head as well as water spraying onto the floor. My biggest concern was the unnoticed sign on the back of the building warning customers of chemicals that are known to cause cancer and reproductive problems. This was a huge inconvenience to me as my planned trip involved a surgical procedure and this made me a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, the beds were clean and comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would recommend as a place to stay only if you are in good health and are comfortable with the idea of staying just outside the San Jose area.
The Castro Street area with plenty of restaurants, etc. is within walking distance, there is a small strip mall with stores adjacent to the hotel, and there is easy access to the highways 85 and 101, so the location is very good to excellent. The room was clean and of decent size, but the amenities (essentially a small workout room and the "pool" is a hot tub) are not especially great, but the breakfast, while a typical Hampton Inn type breakfast each day, was well done and the staff is very nice and helpful.
Rooms were clean and beds/pillows were very comfy. Seemed a little pricey for the area, but it was very convenient.
