Absolutely charming restored hotel dating to the 1930's, with modern rooms, great food, and great jazz singing in the evening. Great location too, two blocks from San Pedro street with all its cafes and restaurants, including 72 St Peter where we had a dinner worthy of the best in New York City.

It was clean & simple. I really loved the bathroom. It was large! Only downside is that Google states there's a pool at the hotel. There wasn't.

We loved the ambiance! It was beautiful, relaxing, and romantic. We will come to spend romantic night away from the kids. Restaurant food, service, and music were outstanding. The rooms are amazing. I will book the library again.

everything was amazing and i would def come back for another visit!

The boys at the front door which were to be opening the doors when we came and went weren't on the ball - probably had the door opened for us twice of 10 times - and those two times weren't when we had our luggage

Beware, there is no free parking. $36 bucks per night is the cost if u use the valet, or you can drive around and find a parking meter on the street. nothing is close by, except a starbucks. a bottle of water in the room is 7 bucks. no nearby stores to purchase toiletries or water or soft drinks or snacks. there are NO vending machines on property.

Great location for the SAP Center and other sights. It is close to the airport, too. I was nice to have a place that wasn't just cookie-cutter. Only thing is that is silly to have a $15 resort fee for a snack box with an old sandwich that nobody would eat anyway! Otherwise there are no real amenities that justify that fee. Staff is super nice and helpful, though.

Great location, clean hotel. The staff was unprofessional and the valet was a nightmare. Bring your patience if you stay here.

The room was elegantly design with modern amenities and was CLEAN! Room service is a little slow and the hotel lobby seems a little outdated but otherwise, what a fantastic location!

Incredible view of downtown. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. It was a true pleasure staying here. I will come back.

Wish I knew that I had to pay for parking and wish there was a pool and place to work out. Also most hotels offer free breakfast had to pay and it wasn’t good. They did have free cookies though.

Staff who checked me in is short and only thing she keeps repeating to me is No and No Room is small and dark and they charge $15 extra hotel fee for technically nothing. It’s a scam. I will never recommend anyone to stay here

This recently remodeled hotel combines old world craftsmanship and architecture with modern comforts such as big screen TV's and Wi-Fi. Treat yourself to a good dinner or cocktails in the lounge or Wine Tasting every Wednesday. Listen to some of Central California's finest Jazz Musicians. Room was clean, spacious and well furnished. Bed was comfortable. My only issue this entire trip was not having an airport shuttle, but a cab ride was only a flat rate $15, so it was not a bad deal.

Had a nice welcome by the very welcoming gentleman at the front desk. Got to my room and settled in but noticed a large machine right out side my door that the was extracting water from the room RIGHT across the hall from mine (Light noise But was noisy). Had a decent nice sleep on a fairly firm bed. Woke up the next morning and went for a walk, returned to have some breakfast with friends to a very inexperienced restaurant host. We got up and left, and went somewhere else. Got back to room to same machine outside the door, but now the contractors were there working in the hall, and hard at it to say the least.. Power equipment, saws, hammers.. VERY loud, extremely graphic language and yes right out side my room. I also had plugged in all of electronics to an outlet that now (unbeknownst to me) had the breaker been popped due to the overload from the power equipment and all of my electronics were run down to zero or gone completely. I was also trying to have a nap, that didnt happen because of the noise. Well now our day was underway and I went down to respectively ask for for some compensation or a reversal of charge. They did offer to move me to another room , but i respectively told them that I was going to be gone the rest of the day and that I didnt need a take up a new room as the damage had already been done and they should save that room for someone else.. Anyway, left it to their management team to decide how to handle my challenges. They gave me an $11 credit. DONE!!
