The property needed upgrades and fixing of security issues. The elevator broke after one trip to the 3rd floor. After using the stairs, the door opened to the ground level but you could reenter it w/o using the room key. No security upstairs for access to any floor. I told a staff member about it and he apparently did not understand. I told other staff members about it. The staff was told again about the door w/o security but nothing was done about it during my 3-nite stay. I told a woman staff person on Sunday and she reported it. It’s not fair to customers over-paying for this hotel to not have a secured door leading from the outside. The balcony was dirty as was the light fixture. The bath light was dim. The shower doors are nice & toiletries in the shower 👍 but the shower handle should be on another wall so guests turn it on w/o getting wet. A restaurant with room service is advertised but I did not find it. There needs to be parking by the lobby for check-in. I was told there was no maid service and asked if I wanted to ADD that. What?? The TV channels were very limited but there was free Showtime. The room was soundproof but the bed needed to be firmer. The room seemed clean but the fixtures were older looking. The grounds were landscaped well near the pool. The water in the pool was warmer than the jacuzzi. The key cards were rekeyed & still didn’t work, twice. Staff should know that Marriott Bonvoy guests are entitled to 2 free waters per day. They did not.

I was very happy with our stay. The room was spacious, scrupulously clean, conveniences supplied. We enjoyed our balcony view of a stately Magnolia tree in bloom in the courtyard. Breakfast was nice, and had hot options. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fresh carpet and paint throughout. The location is super convenient to SJC. There's lots of places to walk to for dinner or drinks. It's a safe, industrial neighborhood. The kids got a big kick out of the robot room service delivery! (Roland is pretty cute, even wears a tie!). The pool is heated and nice and clean, not overly chlorinated. The only thing I could possibly knock on the hotel is the hot tub was out of order, and the pool deck could stand a power wash. I'd 10/10 stay here again!

Breakfast was okay, only prewrapped food. The property was undergoing renovations, but still a pleasant stay. Staff was very friendly and room was clean. The pool was nice, deep end was 9 feet, and water is heated. There was a row of restaurant right across from the parking lot. Don't have to walk far.

Arrived to find out internet service would be down until the following week. It was night time already and there was no notification to me prior to my arrival about it. ( it had been down for several days prior to my arrival). I had to find another hotel to book at a reasonable rate, nearby .

The lay out and courtyard was nice

I like that it’s quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. It was an easy check in. The cleanliness though is very questionable. We found a weird bug/insect on the bed. The carpet is a little dusty. and there is a weird smell - like musky/old …

The atmosphere & vibe were amazing. The customer service was thorough & friendly. The room was beautiful & clean. I was excited to stay there & i’m already thinking about booking another stay.

Nice facility

The property has the potential to be very nice. However I experienced a check in that was handled by indifferent desk people who were slow, and did not have the confirmed room that was asked for. No apologies, just an offer of a couch bed in place of the second queen bed, which was considered an UPGRADE!! I do not consider an uncomfortable soda bed an upgrade!

The bed was comfortable. Since we checked in late and we were tired we didn’t take time to look around. In the morning we noticed the room wasn’t very clean, frankly I wouldn’t stay here again.

There was no service. Everything was blamed on COVID-19.
