I stayed here for the first time last year and told myself I would be back. It’s now April 2023 and I made a reservation to stay here for a second time. They are renovating several of the floors which is a pleasant surprise, and I am currently staying on a floor that has been newly renovated. This older building in downtown San Jose definitely has the potential to become something really nice and it looks like they’re trying to do everything in their power to fulfill that potential. Located not too far from some great restaurants, this hotel is definitely a business commuters must do if you are looking for decent accommodations at a relatively affordable price given all of the crazy price increases in the last year and a half. I waited at the front desk for about 2 to 3 minutes before anyone came out to help me, but was very cordially greeted by the young fella that checked me in and was given a seven dollar drink credit voucher after asking if they still did that. Because of the service that I received, I will likely stay here again during my next business stay in San Jose.
Staff was friendly and checkin was problem free. Parking fee is high, but for the area it wasn't far above public parking for an overnight stay in a covered garage. I would stay again.
Very clean
One block from the light rail stop that goes out to airport. Hotel is right downtown with many dining options nearby. Went to the Sharks game at the San Jose Arena, about a 15 minute walk from the hotel, all flat. Safe area, clean and good free wifi. Would stay again.
The room was good in size but poorly decorated and spaced horribly. The TV was in a cupboard that could only be viewed from directly in front of it. Parking was also pricey for no reason.
The entire hotel and especially the third floor smelled like pot and the pillows in my room smelled like cheap perfume. I guess when I sought out a bargain that’s exactly what I got. My room was also an interior room with a window into a tiny enclosed area in the middle of the hotel.
didn't like that i had to wait for the clerk like 30 min for him to find my reservation. keep saying there was a problem when i clearly showed him my reservation on my phone
Locations was great. Tim at the Mosaic was fanomanal. Room was just right for me. You have to ask for extra anything as they do not refresh daily.
TV didn't work, shower leaked all over the bathroom,
We enjoyed our one-night weekend stay at the Four Points Sheraton very much. Centrally located to everything, there were dozens of places to eat nearby, museums, a movie theatre, a couple comedy theatres, bars, music clubs, etc, all within walking distance. The Jr. Suite we had on the second floor was fairly spacious (one large room with queen bed and a couch which converts), large closet, large bathroom). Everything was clean, the staff was great, we liked that small amenities such as bottles of water were free... We managed to make it to Happy Hour at the bar and had excellent specialty cocktails for $8. Later in the evening we say that their Asian-Fusion restaurant is/was VERY popular as well. There's daily parking next to the hotel for $30/day, but we parked a block away in a public covered lot for a weekend day-rate of $5/day. There's certainly always going to be some noise in a downtown area, but it wasn't bad at all. There's a nice outdoor seating area, and Bocce court open until 9pm... What else to say? We thought that for the (discounted) Orbitz rate that we had on a Saturday was well worth it, and we would certainly return.
Location, amenities, friendly and helpful staff; nice modern feel
I didn't like paying $38 for parking and I also didn't like the Room smelled a little weird it needed some air
The only problem we had was that we reserved a king bed but got a queen there were no more available. My husband is a large man n it was uncomfortable. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
very nice hotel in downtown. Only complaint is lack of shuttle service to the air port
