I really wanted to love this hotel, but unfortunately our stay was just okay. To start off, check in was supposed to be at 3pm. I was there about 15 min early, but I was told to come back in a half hour. We'd just flown in, so we drove to get food and came back at 3:45. Again, we were told there wasn't a room for us yet and it would be about 20 min. We'd been up since 4am and just wanted to take a nap. Finally we were able to check in at 4:45pm. No apologies were made, no drinks or snacks offered. Breakfast was amazing; however, if you didn't get there ridiculously early, there was no where to sit. Also, the layout was bad because hungry people waiting in line for food happened to be standing in front of the drinks. Heaven forbid you say excuse me to get some juice or milk, they'd practically growl at you! I'm no coffee connoisseur, but yikes, the first day it was visibly watered down and tasted awful, then 2 days later, it was so dark and had coffee grounds in it. Speaking of coffee, one night I was going to make some in my room but the coffee maker was broken. Physically broken as in the "power on" lightbulb was hanging out by wires. The workout room was nice and the complimentary headphones were a nice touch. The fire alarm that went off and woke us around 7am on our one-day to sleep in was a special bonus we certainly weren't expecting. Oh, and it was nice to have a fridge and extra sink; however, going downstairs to use the microwave was a bit inconvenient.

It was after 5pm when we arrived to check in, and our room wasn't ready yet :(

Only problem was the room heater did not work and had to move to another room. The staff was great. They took care of the problem immediately.

The hotel is dirty outside. Looked like no one is cleaning up. The outside need more lightings too dark for comfort in San Antonio. Inside the room has no Microwave, hand lotion, body wash or shower cap. Not what I expected from Hyatt hotel. Breakfast is horrible. There are a lots of guests are staying there that day. They should've put out more foods. Almost everything are empty by 9am. The pancakes are cold. No individual syrup package. The eggs tasted like powder. The room rate are too high. Not happy.

Good space for a family with kids. We weren't crammed. Also a big plus is that the room has a fridge. Microwave would be nice, too, but that's not something to complain about. Overall, very comfortable stay.

Convenient, couple of resteraunts walking distance. Easy to get to downtown

Great hotel room with a full sitting room and large TV, nice breakfast options, bathroom is a little small and oddly configured.

Brake fast is good is a brake fast buffet definitely recommended

Great location easy to get to from the 410 loop. Staff was great and check in was fast.. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice and refreshing. Had breakfast in the morning and then worked it off in the treadmill..

Good Hotel for the money has really helpful staff.

IT WAS VERY NICE AND CLEAN... WE DIDNT SPEND MUCH TIME AT THE HOTEL BUT THE TIME WE DID STAY WAS GREAT...

Over all a very good. Happy to go back in the future.

The staff was friendly and accommodating! Rooms were nice!

The Hyatt Place NW/Medical Center is now our hotel of choice whenever we go to San Antonio. Fantastic hotel and the staff couldnt have been more nicer. Whatever we needed they had. You cant ask for more than that.

Excellent place to stay! Room was very clean, the staff very friendly, BREAKFAST GOOD

From the staff to the room. Everything was great. Very comfortable bed and sleeper couch. Though it was not used as a sleeper. Very friendly staff. Our only complaint was about the elevators, but they actually had those serviced later that day and the issues of slowness seemed to be fixed. Overall it's our new favorite place. One other thing room service menu is limited, to what appears to be "snacks". No real entree dishes so to speak one would expect from the chain. But they go all out for breakfast. Which I'm sure is most peoples biggest concern in terms of the food service. Breakfast items are hot and fresh.

Staff members at this hotel were very friendly and accommodating. The hot breakfast buffet was delicious! Our family had a great time at the pool. Rooms were very clean and spacious for our family of 5! We will be staying at more Hyatt Place hotels in the future!

We stayed there just one night. The place was great. There was plenty of bedding. We just thought the restroom was a bit small.

We enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Breakfast was great, good variety. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was great with clean towels provided at pool. Very busy weekend and elevator was extremely slow.

Clean hotel, friendly staff and good free breakfast. The beds were a little firm for my taste but all and all a good stay.
