The room was nice. We were out and about alot but it was also a nice location to many of the routes we needed to get places.

The hotel is nice and clean. The location is good, lots of convenience stores and food places around.

I have stayed in 4 different rooms in this hotel and only in the last one did I sleep through the night without being woken up by gurgling plumbing, other people (not the hotels fault but this one is always hosting weddings and events so...), or most annoyingly the elevators double bell ring that sounded like it was coming from my headboard. That being said, the cookies they give you upon checking in are delicious, there is a nice lake adjacent, the pool is pretty nice, and the breakfast is waaaaay better than any other I've had for free(ish) in a hotel. The rooms are big and the bedding is very comfortable.

I'm a business traveler (30-60 nights per year). This was one of the best hotels I've stayed at lately. No complaints at all quick taxi ride from the airport. Great features. Clean. Everything worked well including the iron and ironing board. Great breakfast. Comfortable bed. AC worked perfectly. Again no complaints.

No microwave in the room that I had, room can be a bit cleaner..cobwebs in most coners

Booked 2 beds and got there it was 1 king. Had 3 guests. Did bring roll away but was not very comfortable for an adult. Otherwise it was a very nice room with separate bedroom.

I was not impressed with this hotel, but the location was great for our purposes given that we had a meeting in the professional complex. The room was dated, there were stains on the sofa, the hair dryer stopped working and the walls were paper thin so we heard the outside noise, voices, music most of the night. The breakfast buffet, which was not complimentary, was very average. We should have gone to the Waffle House. Though the staff was friendly, I wouldn't stay here again.

It is a great hotel to stay in and I would recommend the hotel to others.

Staff is always friendly, helpful, & professional. Especially Sarah & Tony: on duty when I checked in 10/31 @ approx. 5-5:30 pm. Beautiful hotel & pond, even w/ renovations going on. Enjoyed the choc. chip cookie given @ check-in, & daily fruit of apples, oranges, & bananas @ front desk and of course the coffee in mornings & fruit fused water in afternoons. Comfortable beds, rooms & hall ways don't have any bad odors! I love this place & plan to stay here only when in Durham, NC!

this is a great hotel and surprisingly affordable considering its' location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and actually plan to stay again in the very near future.

I can truly say I enjoyed myself, the room was clean and enjoyable.

Suite for $109/night. Bedroom was a bit small but the living room was huge. Cookies are great too.

great for our family. Clean, kind staff, overall great hotel.

Accomodations suited well for busines trip. Clean comfortable rooms not too far from RDU & Durham

We were attending Duke graduation, and were unable to get reservations close to the campus. While the Doubletree was about 20 minutes away - it ended up be a great choice. An amazing value - and very nice rooms. The King suite had lots of space which made visiting with people very easy. The staff was extremely courteous and very helpful.

It was raining when I arrived so there were many staying in to eat, a little delay in getting food but otherwise a pleasant stay.

The room was large and comfortable. Fitness center was small but had free weights and a few cardio machines. Indoor pool was nice.

Overall this was a nice hotel to spend time with family over Thanksgiving weekend. I was just a little taken back when the maintenance man delivered room service. I guess the hotel may have been short on staff due to the holiday. Electrical outlets were also a little troublesome. Hair dryers and irons would not stay plugged in when you tried to use them.

Check in was, they give you 2 nice warm and delicious cookies! Room was awesome and very large especially for the rate! Comfortable bed with a huge balcony and everything you would expect in a suite. Don't forget to go outside! There is a nice pathway that leads to a deck out back with lots of trees on a walkway with benches and a waterfall and fountain at the end of the walkway. The pools looked great although we didn't have time to partake. We got back late from a show and had the munchies and sure enough there were just enough sweet treats for sale at the front desk (mini ice creams!). Wonderful stay, highly recommended.

Overall it was a good experience. We especially appreciate the suite style, because we were traveling with toddlers who have an early bedtime. In a traditional room my husband and I either would've had to go to bed early or the kids would've stayed up late. With the suite, we put the kids to bed at their normal time and my husband and I were able to have our own area and stay up later. The only bad thing about the stay was we were put next to people who wanted to party all night. I was appreciative of the front desk who sent security to ask them to respect their neighbors and who gave us free breakfast buffet coupons for our troubles. I think the hotel staff handled the situation well.
