Clean, modern hotel close to Duke University. The bar serves a small but nice variety of food until 10 pm, which was convenient. Only complaint is the lack of insulation in the floors. It sounded like an elephant was getting ready on the floor above me from about 7:00-8:00 am. It was so loud it woke me up and I couldn’t go back to sleep, so I lost an hour of sleep. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay.

Everything was great in the Hotel! Only thing I didnt like was parking. They charge $20 a night and parking is very difficult because spaces are too small even for a compact car.

Beautiful modern hotel in Durham

We enjoyed our stay at AC Hotel Durham. The hotel is very modern and sleek. The bar is beautiful with a comfortable lounge area to sit and relax. The location is excellent for those visiting Duke University/Hospital area, with numerous restaurants right outside the door.

Great hotel

I needed a hotel close to the Duke Univ. hospital and this was a great hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the rooms were comfortable, and the facilities were great. They don't have a pool. They're are great restaurants nearby. Great hotel

The good: the location if you are visiting Duke, the cleannesses, the room layout, bed, pillows and bedding The bad: costumer service, receptionist, quality I had $10 food credit, that according to the receptionist could use for restaurant or food shop. The 2 cold coffees I took ended up being $10.75, so I asked her to charge my credit card for the $0.75, but my card was charged the entire $10.75. $10 is not breaking anyone’s bank, but the deception bothered me.

My stay was great. The staff were very professional. The rooms were clean. The only issue I had was I made reservations for a king bed room and got a double queen room. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend this hotel.
